Come here weekly! I love their chocolate brioche and authentic Scandinavian bakes, like their kringle, cardamom braids and rolls, and julkaka rolls. Regularly get their tasty bear claw, spandau (the one with lemon filling is my favorite), and poppy seed/sesame hards rolls. Great iced coffee in summer and drip coffee in winter. Affordable prices.
The only thing we don't enjoy from Larsen's are the cakes. The frosting is too firm and heavy, and the mouth feel is off. The frog cake, for example, is supposed to be filled with airy raspberry whipped cream and a soft sponge cake, but the cream was more like butter cream and the sponge was crumbly.
Dietary restrictions: Bear claw and most of the spandaus are dairy free.
I ordered a custom birthday cake from Larsen’s for my girlfriend’s birthday and wow they delivered. Asked for a toadstool/cottagecore design and they really crushed it. Can’t thank the cake designers and bakers at Larsen’s enough for making the day so special.
