Cozy, inviting space with friendly staff and a menu that transports you back to India—a great space to stop by en route to, or coming back from, Gas Works park.

One of the best latte chai and idli. What a great fusion.

Came when they were very understaffed, so I empathize.
Chai was kinda bland and not very warm. Samosas were pretty pricey at $5 each (or $15 for three) and definitely not made in house.
Didn't try the hot dishes but they looked decent though. And they have Indian ice cream!

Horrible. Paid for a $5 tea and then decided to just leave without it after the drink maker touched the inside of all patrons cups & proceeded to wet cough into the drinks being made. The over priced, super slow service... Wasn't worth getting sick.
Be weary, wish I could have given this spot a chance but yeah that's as bad as I could get. At least they didn't spit in it I guess?

Great kid friendly spot close to Gas Works Park. Had a bunch of board games and high chairs.

Service was very friendly and efficient. The barista gave me great recommendations, as I had not visited before. I had a mango lassi, which was creamy and delicious. I also had a spice bowl with paneer, which was balanced and tasty. I will be returning, thank you!

Stopped by with family after our visit to gas works park. The chai was too watery but filter coffee was ok. I think the spirit of serving food is essential in any establishment which I was a bit lost here. We had ordered a plate of batata vada. I believe these are frozen and heated up. The serving team had pre heated the food with 3 vadas first then waited to defrost the one piece by which time the other three had gone cold. These were then served on piping hot other cold. The coffee tasted ok but was also served cold. I requested the coffee to be remade which the team was happy to do so, but I didn’t have the energy to ask for vada reheated again as it was very late anyway. Taste was ok. Overall disappointed.

The idli sambar took me right back to Kerala. It was so delicious, I can’t wait to come back and try other dishes! I’m especially excited to try the chickoo shake and the pistachio lassi ?

It’s always closed, just bizarre working hours and almost no food. If you order food they just do not move at all, so weird

Editing my old review as that was meant for SLU location.Wallingford: Located couple blocks from fremont troll, this is a nice spot to grab quick Indian street food. Went to this location multiple times with friends, family and colleagues. Everyone love their lassi except the pistachio one, that needs way lot of improvement. Tried sabudana during the specials weekend and it was good very much like homemade with crushed peanuts and topped with cilantro. Poha is okay, vadapav is good. We didn’t like chat and upma. Good coffee and chai.Overall food is just okay.Parking near this location is much easier than SLU location. Their loyalty system sucks too not linked, if you go after a couple months all old points are gone not sure where. One thing I liked and noticed is they take good care of staff, I saw them closing early for a staff event. Definitely appreciate that aspect of a small business!

Vegetarian options: Everything is vegetarian

Dietary restrictions: All food is vegetarian, vegan options also available. No meat.

Parking: Street parking available on the blocks surrounding. Can be a little tricky during summer as gas works park is also nearby

Kid-friendliness: Many options for kids food and drinks

Wheelchair accessibility: There are steps before you enter the restaurant and no ramp. It is not ♿️ accessible
