A fairly unique experience in this part of town. Lively, good food, pretty good wine. Would make a fine date.

This is hands down my favorite place for a date night with my wife. It is perfect- the best charcuterie in Seattle, delicious glasses of wine, and great ambiance

Our first night in Seattle and my husband found this gem! Excellent food and amazing wine. We sat at the bar with friendly patrons. The waiter made wonderful wine recommendations. The asparagus was AMAZING. Had a wonderful time and will come again and recommend to friends. A Seattle must go!

Tucked away in downtown Seattle, this wine bar feels like a little slice of France. Great staff, excellent wine selection, and tasty bites. My favorite thing is drawing on the butcher paper they put down at your table. Absolutely lovely!

Great owners who know French wines! They are super nice and remembered us from the previous night. You have to be the baguette and butter!

Second time here, tonight we sat at the bar and got excellent wine suggestions catering for my unique and personal taste.

Food was phenomenal, the team brought out a wonderful selection to nibble on and looked after us.

This venue is unapologetically authentic.

Best wine bar in the city, maybe the PNW. (Assuming you like *french* wine.) Just don’t come here on Thursday, lest you sit in my seat.

Just a wonderful wine bar and wine seller. Staff are attentive, kind and helpful. The range of wines by the glass is excellent and the bistro food delicious. Especially the roasted mushrooms (which was a special the night we were in). Great jazz soundtrack as well.

The feel is one an authentic French Bistro in Paris. Intimate place with table close together and bar seating. There is also outside seating. Large selection of wines that the staff is very knowledgeable about. Serves are attentive and sweet. The menu is on a chalk and they offer great suggestions so ask away. Service is fast. It is a popular place and on weekends can be hard to find a seat. Loved their mushroom dish. The smoked was OK but the salade with goat cheese is great. Lots of French bread! Nice find in downtown Seattle. Open very late.

Le Caviste is a true 5 star establishment. From the hospitality of the staff to the thoughtful food and wine pairings to the authentic atmosphere - every care is taken to make this dining experience enjoyable. Particularly, we enjoyed almost all of the red wines on their menu, the various meat-centric charcuterie boards, and the poison en papillote. The paté with blackberries was particularly exceptional! A couple of notes:
- Make a reservation! Sometimes the wait time can provide a wonderful instance for deeper conversation, but they are rightfully busy so keep this in mind for Friday and Saturday nights
- They have a fish-centric charcuterie, meat-centric charcuterie, and I believe a cheese-centric charcuterie -- All fabulous!
- The poison en papillote is a fabulous entrée, absolutely delicious!

Enjoy lots of wine with good company and cherish this gorgeous, authentic spot! I will be back as many times as possible!
