This might be my new favorite Patisserie 😊🄐 I enjoyed a pumpkin chai and a ham and cheese croissant. It was the perfect snack for a quick walk across the University Bridge. I definitely plan to come back and try some of the other pastries.

Le Fournil (Seattle) is a well known and established bakery, confectionery and beverage location on the Eastlake. I started to visit or have delivery orders more than 10 years ago. The food is exceptional. I always have the salmon sandwich, pear salad, and apple turnover, croissant or tart. I like apples very much. I used to have the fruit tart on my birthday too. Although Le Fournil isn’t a high end place but it is comfortable. I haven’t visited in person for some years. The last time I visited was before the pandemic. The receptionist was very nice and friendly. I wound up take up a whole box of croissants, tarts and cakes. Tres bien et merci beaucoup!

Tried three tarts, but they all had a similar taste. Not impressed and not likely to return.

I have been going here on a regular basis for years. Going for their lunch special. Baguette sandwich plus drink plus pastry. They are very consistent and good.

Vegetarian options: It’s a bakery, so plenty of vegetarian option , probably no vegan options

Parking: Easy parking in back next to entering next to flower shop

Kid-friendliness: Lots of great treats, family friendly seating

Always great sandwiches, very fresh. Everyone of them is very good. Special includes freshly made sandwich (baguette bread) coffee or juice and pastry. Incredible selection of real French pastries and cakes made of superb ingredients. Fresh baguettes are also sold on the premise. Just overall cozy experience for a single person or a group.

The whole fruit tart was amazing.
Also, if you can, get the whole fruit tart instead of the minis or individual sizes. The crust on the whole one is thicker and the crust to cream ratio is better.

We had a HUGE order for delivery today. The box lunches were very tasty and the desserts were both beautiful and delicious. The order arrived on time and everything went very smoothly.

I love this little bakery! I’ve worked down the road from Le Fournil for the last 9 years and ā€œLe Fernā€, as we fondly call it in our office, is our neighborhood staple! They have a great variety of sandwiches, salads, soups, and best of all - PASTRIES! Everything is so tasty and it’s had the same consistent taste over the last decade. The staff is always friendly and warm. The space is small but has great seating options - a good place for a chat with a friend, a casual meeting, or some laptop work! Highly recommend this little neighborhood spot!

Editing review to add photo. These are not pastry chefs , these are scammers. This was supposed to be custard.

The worst croissant I’ve had in Seattle. Zero flakiness. It tastes like one that has been plastic wrapped. The chausson aux pommes was the only reason I don’t give this place one star.

Walking around Lake Union and found this little gem.. tucked beneath the very noisy overhead I-5. Nice and quiet inside with a good choice of very tasty pastries and cakes to accompany very tasty coffee... just right to set us off walking again and hopefully complete the Lake loop!
