This place has the best happy hour in Seattle. I ordered some favs from that menu but also tried their chicken pot pie, which was revelatory. The pot pie came in its own ceramic dish and had the most delicate crust I've ever had outside of French pastry and it contained foie gras to make it even more heavenly. I have never been disappointed by the food or service here. They always have great wine and bar service.

The attendants were very patient, quite familiar with the menu, eager, and helpful in leading visitors to decide their orders. We loved the food we consumed so much. It was so delicious and it was at a very inexpensive cost. I recommend this position quite highly.

I've visited Lecosho, located at the Harbor Steps, between 1st/University and Western, three times for Seattle Restaurant Week. The latter two visits on 11/3/19 and 11/5/20 with my son Alex were superior. Often logistics due to schedules and parking availability didn't allow this on a more frequent rotation. Found out earlier last week, that Lecosho's decade long run will come to an end by month's end/New Year's Eve, darn pandemic and building owner! It is an urban destination in the shadow of the Hammering Man, Seattle Art Museum, and proximate to the waterfront. I've enjoyed the sleek interior and the lively bar/dining room vibe. They managed to arrange for more outdoor seating and space out indoor tables during the pandemic. What stood out for me aside from the ambiance was the impeccable and welcoming service. Truly amazing wait staff. Also, props to the kitchen crew. The starters, entrees, and desserts we selected during our Nov 2019 and Nov 2020 visits were well paced, nicely plated, delicious, and amazing value for $35 plus tax and tip during SRW dining campaigns. They are closed Sundays and Mondays and the recent state restrictions through Dec 14th prohibits indoor dining. So there are barely three weeks left for takeout before they are closed permanently. I am hoping to order takeout and experience that Lanroc Farms Pork Chop just one more time. Thank you to the entire FOH/BOH culinary staff at Lecosho - leaving a lasting legacy as one of the best downtown Seattle restaurants!

Lecosho is one of the restaurant experiences in Seattle that can leave you euphoric in a way that only exceptional restaurants can. Have some wine, have some bites, feel the atmosphere and get that heady light feeling from hours of foodie enjoyment, particularly with good company. In warm months their outdoor seating on the historic Harbor Steps is an experience like no other, truly special nestled beneath the cherry blossom trees. I only remove a star because it was not the most attentive service, as we searched the horizon like meerkats and servers did the "I don't have peripherals" like focus, we had to waive someone down more than once as they weren't looking to see if you needed another glass of wine or were ready to order. I assumed it was the limited service during pandemic so it wasn't a big deal.

Tried Lecosho for restaurant week and I thought the food was pretty decent, but the service was great! One of the people at our table ended up not doing restaurant week and our server still brought her a dessert. Another person had a birthday and she only had to pay for her main course and got her app/dessert for free I ordered the wild boar and beef ragu which was good but nothing super special. If anything I 100% recommend getting the squash soup, that was warm and delicious and perfect for the fall. My friend ordered the risotto which had pears in it that I really liked, but I think I've got my eyes on the porchetta sandwich next time I come!

2 stars for location and friendly service! Otherwise, the mediocre quality and miniscule portion sizes don't come close to justifying how horrifically overpriced this place is. But if you want to spend 48 bucks on a bland, dry pork chop, by all means, don't let me stop you. Idiot.

Phenomenal experience!! Last night was my final evening in Seattle, and my friend and I were looking for an elevated casual restaurant that served both seafood and Italian. This restaurant fit the bill perfectly. Our waiter Naffi (apologies for the potential misspelling) was incredible -- one of my favorite waiters I've ever had. He was attentive without being overbearing, extremely friendly, and made excellent recommendations. We started with the Rio Star cocktail which tasted like an icy cold lemonade. Delicious and perfect for a warm day! Since our day was on the cooler side, we asked that the heater by our table (as we were dining on the patio) be turned on to provide some warmth. We paired the cocktails with the cheese board. Though on the petite side, each component (three cheeses, sauce, nuts, and bread) was unique and packed a punch of flavor. For dinner, I ordered the Wild Boar & Painted Hills Beef Ragu. The noodles tasted fresh and the meaty sauce was hearty and filling. I wasn't planning to order any dessert or additional drinks, but Naffi was convincing. I selected the Maple Pot De Creme and was blown away. The decadent dessert was rich and smooth yet somehow simultaneously light, the perfect ending to a delightful meal. Once again, I wasn't planning to order another drink, but Naffi convinced me again. He let my friend and I try a few dessert beverages, and I selected a light and honey-like dessert wine, the perfect complement to the pot de creme. My dinner at Lecosho was wonderful, one of those good dinner memories that will be a highlight of my three days in Seattle. I hope to return again!

Lecosho will always have special place in my heart. I lived at Harbor Steps apartments and worked in the area for 4 years. I spent many happy hours and dinner times at this beautiful restaurant. This restaurant truly has some of the best quality food I've had in Seattle. The pork chop was one of the first meals i tried here. The charcuterie board, Olive tapenade and a glass of Chardonnay is my forever happy hour order.Delicious food. Ambience and music on point. Great service!
