Thank you Lee's!!! You provided West Seattle with reliably great food for years. I sure hope you find an affordable space to lease in order to continue because we are already missing you! Much love!!! Anthony & Jackie

One of my all time favorite lunch places in West Seattle! Cashew Chicken and Seven Flavor Beef are to die for!

Never disappointed. Portions are generous and fair pricing. Miss their dine in service.

I have recently been trying Chinese/whatever restaurants that offer a dish with noodles, chicken, little bits of vegetables, and a sauce. Apparently that is chow mein or lo mein... apparently its name/identity can differ. A long time ago, I used to like a dish named "Pandamania" from a restaurant named "Pandasia" in the Interlake area of Seattle. It had wide noodles (I'm thinking 1/2 inch wide). Pandasia was eventually sold, then declined so much that it eventually closed for good. My dog pooped on top of a boulder near the Pandasia restaurant (there are tennis courts or softball fields there, I think), and I am oddly proud of his feces placement (I used a plastic bag to remove the feces, of course, but dogs know). I'm not seeking authenticity, and I doubt there is such a thing as authenticity for this sort of dish anyway. I think that lo/chow mein is a comfort food and a value-oriented dish. A different restaurant (in White Center) serves [chicken lo mein] a smaller portion with more chicken that I like but that restaurant is oriented toward breakfast/lunch. Another different restaurant (in Burien) serves [chicken chow mein] a smaller portion that I like but it is drier somehow, and its styrofoam container seems less resilient to microwave reheating (in my commercial microwave oven that I bought from the defunct/closed/sold Morning Star MiniMart Deli property at 9th SW & SW Henderson :) ) than paper/cardboard/plastic. Lee's Asian Restaurant served/provided an order of chicken lo mein that is by far the best deal. It's almost twice as much of essentially the same food at the other two restaurants for the same price. There are some drawbacks. It's currently (02/19/2022) take-out only, it's surprisingly hard to notice/find despite its prime business location, it doesn't have its own parking, it's old-fashioned enough that you have to hand over your credit card or cash to pay, but it is my recommendation for chicken lo mein / whatever on the peninsula (including the northern part of Burien). I liked being able to see as soon as I walked in the door (admittedly, it was in the distance) people/cooks in the kitchen preparing the food. Edit: (February 22, 2022) Lee's Asian Restaurant will be closing "end of March" (West Seattle Blog) Edit: (February 25, 2022) I bought chicken lo mein again, and it was five stars again.

I've tried Tom Ka Gai at a dozen other places in hopes of finding something that can compare to Lee's Tom Ka Gai and there is no competition anywhere. Lee's has some other good dishes but the Tom Ka Gai is what keeps me coming back again and again!

We were in the mood for Asian food and tried this place out after walking past it several times. Wait time for pickup was about 20min on a Sunday evening. We ordered three dishes and they were delicious! I wish we would have tried this place sooner, the portion sizes are big and our son loved the Chow-Mein noodles! Food was spicy, well flavored, low oil, and hit the spot! Food was ready when I went to go pick it up, good friendly service. We will be back!

This place used to be a good place to eat because the food used to be good. The chefs worked at Wild Ginger a long time ago and the dishes they prepared reflected this experience there. It has been very good for a long time. I stopped going to restaurants because of the pandemic. Recently though I had the occasion to order food from the restaurant. It was completely different. The Seven Flavor Beef did not even resemble or taste like the dish I ordered in the past. It seemed like it was prepared by someone who didn't know the recipe and the specific combination of ingredients used at Wild Ginger or Lee's a while back. I hope that this was just an aberration, that someone else was just filling in for cooking duties that day and didn't know what they were doing. I would have given Lee's a four or five star rating if the food matched what they prepared in the past. Three for now since I don't know if this is how the food is being prepared consistently. Time will tell.

Literally the best restaurant in West Seattle, an institution I've been eating here for over 20 years and not once had a bad experience. The nine flavor beef, pad kee Mao and honey Walnut prawns are amazing. Please support this amazing local business.

We always stop here on our way to the ferry, heading home. Great food and it's consistent too!

No clue why so many great and good reviews. The food was bland and just didn't taste good. Quality of ingredients is poor. Noodles tasted like they came from a factory kitchen and were heated in dishwater. The quality of the beef in the spice beef was so bad I could not eat it. One star for not getting sick after eating three chicken items.

Best Chinese Restaurant in West Seattle! Their service is quick and food is always amazing! Our go-to's are Crispy Peppered Calamari, Wonton Dancing with Baby Bok-choy, Lee's Fragrant Duck (with amazing buns!), Broccoli Beef, Chicken Phad Thai and my all-time favorite Lo Mein.

Been going to this place since I was a kid super reliable and I love it. The nine flavor beef is to die for it's so amazing. The phad kee mao is great, so it honey walnut prawns, phad thai, and the soups, literally everything is great. You can always count on good food here.

Loved it. Got mooshu chicken (regular kind of pancakes, not tortillas like another review got) and the seven flavor beef. Absolutely great all around, the mooshu was delicious and leftovers made a great omelet, the beef didn't make it to leftovers.Looking forward to trying more of the menu soon.

If this review was solely based on the food , I would have rated it a 5. The fried rice, 7 flavor beef, and honey walnut prawns are delicious. Also a 5 on having the food prepared in a timely manner, packing to go orders, and general friendliness. It gets a couple dings because it seems while the prices have gone up, the serving size has gone down. My last order for fried rice and two 7 flavor beefs totaled $45. And the beef orders seemed about 2/3 of what they use to be.
