The place is clean and well-maintained. The staff is polite. The banh mi is over-priced compared to other Vietnamese Deli nearby but taste okay. They do not use Vietnamese mayonnaise so the taste is a bit off. I will pass on the banh mi in the future. The mochi donuts and blueberry turnovers are good. Their meat pies are absolutely DELICIOUS, especially the pork pie. I will definitely come back again for those. This place does well on their baked good and I would recommend.

Le's Deli and Bakery offers a lot of yummy options. I highly recommend trying the meat pie. It was flaky, buttery, peppery, absolutely delicious. If you stop in say hello to Ms. Le she was so sweet and kind. She share her story with me about how her business has grew from hard work and dedication. Her staff is so helpful and kind. I am sad that I don't live in the area, but I have a feeling I will be driving the extra miles just to stop in and say hello and grab something to eat. Thank you Ms. Le for being so kind to my client and myself today. This social worker will forever support your business.

They have a person with horrible communications working the counter. Very quiet and gloomy attitude. I had to repeat what I wanted in my drink 3x. I had two toppings I wanted. I had a $25 voucher and only got $14 worth of food. I was expecting for her to cross out the $25 on the voucher and write the remaining change but she just walked off with it. I then inquired, and they said they didn’t do that? Odd but fair. Only thing was, it wasn’t written in their policy for the voucher and she didn’t mention it to me before or after I ordered. The food was mediocre and extremely overpriced. The Pastries were stale and hard. There’s a reason why only white people eat here. Im Vietnamese and the food here was not great nor authentic.
The absolute best Chicken Pho in Seattle Washington. Thank you Tom and Cindi for being the absolute best host. I've been coming here for more than 6 years. Do yourself a favor and

We ordered the grilled pork banh mi and the combo, with mango and peach smoothies. maybe it should be called Le's Sweet Shop. My first impression of the smoothie was that it was super sugary. Also, the picture of the drink on the menu clearly shows boba in the drink. Yet, our drinks had no boba! I went back to confirm that i hadn't missed a check box somewhere for boba, and i also didn't find an instruction that if we wanted boba we should include it in the special request box. the smoothies were very strongly flavored (which was nice), but also just on the border of being overly sweet. i guess it's a trade off and we snarfed them down. I'd order one again although i think the smoothies from Tony's Bakery at MLK and Graham are better. And then we come to the banh mi and, again, wow were they sweet. according to the menu, the grilled pork sandwich has "House mayonnaise, cucumber, pickled carrots & daikon, jalapenos, and cilantro." There was one small slice of cucumber, one slice of jalapeño, a few leaves of cilantro (couldn't detect any mayo, house or otherwise), and the sweetest Đồ Chua (pickled vegetables) i've ever tasted. there was hardly any taste of salty or sour, just sweet sweet sweet. and maybe i'm old skool (well, i know i am), but i expect the carrot and daikon to be cut into strips with a mandolin and these were grated and it was almost all carrot with a few bits of radish.Maybe Le's, like so many other restaurants in the South End, is trying to cater to the new gentrified clientele, so they have sugared up their dishes. I don't like it any more than i like what the gentrifiers are doing to our community, but i do understand the desire to please the people who have the money, so they'll spend it at one's business.I think i'll try the Bakery Sandwiches in the mall at MLK and Graham. i see lots of Vietnamese people carrying out shopping bags full of banh mi. they must know something i don't, but i'm about to find out. in the meantime, i might give Le's another try since they have other stuff on their menu. we'll see...
