We've used Lighthouse whole beans for many years now, using a Breville conical burr grinder. A great way to go! But could you say a few words about the 'big' grinder you use for your ground bags? How quickly should one be able to get through a ground bag to retain consistency?
The baristas here have finally won my heart. I was once a Diva regular, but since I lost my daughter to suicide I couldn't bear to go.
We then switched to Lighthouse, which is closer, and has great coffee, but it always felt distant. The other day I ended up spilling to the "crow tat" guy. He's a no nonsense fella who remembers people and drinks, but says little. Today I went and he bought my coffee. Actions, not words. I can respect that.
I manage a coffee shop in Manson and was told by a tourist to check out his local coffee shop if I’m ever in Seattle. I loved it! 10/10 will go back next time I’m in the area. I loved the plants inside. I loved the coffee. I loved that they had an all male barista crew. I loved the chill atmosphere and the adorable barista that gave me and my friend a second cup of coffee for the road. Friendly staff, tucked out of the way and near the Fremont troll.
