I enjoy Lil’ Woody’s. The service is good and the staff is usually friendly. You can build your own burger or choose from their specialty options. I like their specialty creations, but I do wish that if you remove cheese (I’m not a fan of cheese), you could substitute it with something else. FYI: adding cheese is $1.50 and other ingredients cost extra, but if you remove cheese from a specialty burger, the price stays the same 🤷‍♂️ … just a small nitpick.

Overall, I still enjoy this place and will continue to support it. Definitely recommended!

Lil Woody’s Ballard is a great go-to for a classic local burger and fries — consistently tasty, fresh, and satisfying. The Ballard location has a great vibe, and the staff is always friendly and welcoming.

One piece of feedback: when you substitute ingredients on a burger, it would be great if removing something (like cheese) and adding another (like extra lettuce) balanced out in the pricing, rather than resulting in an added charge. I mentioned this to the owner and she was open to the idea and said they’d look into how to implement it — which is a really encouraging sign of customer-focused thinking.

Overall, it’s a solid neighborhood spot with great food and people, and I’m excited to see how they continue to evolve!

Really really good salmon burger. Like next level. Beef burger also insanely good. Queso and fries were very tasty, onion rings also very good. Running out of adjectives here but I really dig the vibe of the place. Idk what people are saying about cafeteria quality; it’s also on the cheaper side for the area. Anyways will be back!

Consistently the best burgers I've ever ate, every time I go there. Just real solid, delicious food.

I love a good black bean burger instead of just an impossible or beyond. This place nails the classic feel without compromise.

Bought a milkshake, paid extra to have peanut butter put in it. Waited over half an hour and was handed somebody else's melted DoorDash pickup order (milkshake without peanut butter in it). Another person in my party ordered a root beer float and was given a cup with a scoop of ice cream in it, then told to grab a root beer from the fridge and make it himself. The restaurant was practically empty and both drinks were overpriced, especially since one of them was wrong and the other had to be made by the customer.

Actually hilariously bad service. I will never come here again.

20min for a burger when the store was empty. Food was good. Not worth the wait time though.

One of my favorite burger places. The location in Downtown Ballard is well-situated. I am also a fan of their milkshakes.

Burger patty listed as 1/4 lb but it pales in comparison to a McDonald’s Quarter Pounder in quality and size. Also why am I being asked for a tip when I had to chase my own food down at the counter and am required to bus my own table?

I really wanted to like this place, but it was meh at best. The fries were soggy and disappointing and the burger was poorly executed. Cold bun and lacking. The potential is here, but the cook doesn’t seem to care.
