Delicious Mapo Tofu and Gungbao chicken. Very generous portions and well prepared. Good selection of tea. We came in 45 minutes before close and they still were happy to serve us.

Great food but they are going through labor shortage. Hope they figure things out because the food is on point.Came here again, food is a little different than before but it was great and service was amazing.

Ordered a take out, the food is very oily. Otherwise everything else was good. I drained 1-2 tablespoons of oil from both the fried rice and the noodles.

The food is fantastic and they have lots of vegetarian options! Staff is always friendly, too. Best Sichuan place on the hill.

Came here with a big group for a birthday. I was thoroughly impressed with everything we ordered, it was a family style meal with lots of dishes and plenty of second helpings. Our group ran the gamut for spice tolerance, vegan, and food allergies but there was plenty of overlap on dishes most of us could eat. The peppery flavors of the meal were such a delight to the palette, slightly numbing in some cases but never too spicy hot, there are even several peppery drinks on the menu that are sure to wow. My favorite was the chicken, but my friends loved the sweet and buttery flavor of the hen of the forest which was definitely my runner-up. Service was also excellent, everything came out quickly, our waters were topped up, and the servers were friendly and knowledgeable on the dishes. Definitely looking forward to the next time!

Hands down one of my favorite places to treat myself or friends and family on Capitol Hill. A hip, urban vibe combined with great Szechuan dishes, cocktails, and a sublime staff has made every visit a delight. Yago's does an amazing job making craft cocktails in front of the bar diners to keep everyone entertained whether part of a group or solo dining. Make sure you try the steamed egg seasonal!

Great place for an intimate dinner or a group celebration. I've done both and had a great experience both times. Food is delicious and the drinks are amazing! I love the twists they put on classic cocktails.

Laidback, casual place with really tasty food! The standouts were the mapo doufu (with tofu), the rockfish, and the cumin beef.I didn’t care for the duck, I expected it to be more like Peking duck but it was not. Despite that the flavors were still good, I liked the fried veggies that came with it.I also didn’t think the cocktails were overly impressive.

The food is so good, and thank god because the service is so bad it’s actually funny. we sat down and waited at least 10 minutes to order our drinks. Meanwhile the servers are taking shots by the bar. We ordered the dumplings as an appetizer, which were totally forgotten and ended up coming out last. I miss their tamarind drink. I would recommend going here if you have low expectations for service and high expectations for food!
