Beautiful space inside. That's the only positive I can think of. Party of 3 for dinner on a weekday evening. Host/server was pleasant but clueless. Inattentive. Had to repeatedly call her over for enough silverware and glasses for the 3 of us, even though she had seated us. She didn't notice. Came to take order as soon as we sat down, but we hadn't seen the small QR code in a donkey drawing on a card. And she didn't tell us when she seated us. Ate here over the weekend. The food was mostly awful. Sadly, the best part was the okay chips and salsa. There was almost no spice in the entrees, the rice and beans were hard, the steak was overcooked, tough, and stringy. This food is not Mexican. It is just bad. The wait staff didn’t ask how the food was. The atmosphere was fine if you just want a place to drink and eat chips with okay salsa.
we have eaten at The Little Donkey several times and the food is outstanding. such a variety so tasty and the ambiance is the best.
