This little neighborhood diner is a real gem , somewhere you could afford to eat everyday . It's obvious they didn't spend a ton of money given the place of facelift so their overhead isn't super high and they're able to make it affordable and pretty darned good . They only take cash and there's something rewarding about paying your waitress in cash the old fashioned way
I have heard of this place but never been. The service was outstanding, Food was great and the prices are so reasonable. The decor is dated but that is part of the charm, it has a small town vibe to it that I really liked. Keep in mind they are a CASH ONLY establishment.
I went to have breakfast, the prices are good, the food is average, however the service leaves a lot to be desired, an elderly lady attends you, writes down what she wants, she doesn't take the order well, it takes a long time to bring what you ask her, the food as I mentioned before, is average, eggs, hot cakes and bacon, the homemade strawberry jam is very tasty, but they don't always have it or they don't always want to bring it.
