There is something wrong with their coffee or milk. It tastes watered down with a hint of vomit.This place needs a quality check urgently, even gas station coffee will be better.

I live nearby the local coffee shop so I've tried a few times to make it my go to spot. But the atmosphere feels awkward with a lot of the seating at a continuous high top counter that splits the space visually. The larger windows on such a busy street makes it feel like you're in a fishbowl rather than the warm atmosphere most people seek from a coffee shop. Then there's the food. The breakfast bagels are delicious! The coffee is also always well made. But the baristas work incredibly slowly. I think the goal is to feel like no one is hurried or in a rush, but honestly it gets frustrating watching the staff chat and take so long to finish making your drink or food. There's rarely many people there so with only two people in front of you, you may still wait 10+ minutes once you place your order. All in all there's too much competition in this area for great choice with better service.

I really like the ambiance of the shop -- great seating and a nice cozy-but-clean look. I avoid coming here, though because I've found it to be extremely unreliable and SLOW. It's not unusual to stand in line for 10 minutes while they finish up one order at a time (no multitasking at this place!) only to be told that they are out of x/y/z or that the oven is broken. It is usually pretty quiet when I go (regardless of time of day), but I've never gotten out of there in less than 15 minutes -- even when just ordering a single drink in an empty shop. The food is decent (nothing special but pretty standard breakfast and lunch fare) and the drinks are pretty average. It is WILDLY overpriced, though, even for South Lake Union -- a 20 oz. drip coffee will run you about $7 and is just not great. Caffe Ladro is just a block away and offers better drinks, yummy goods, and really excellent service at a better price point.

i come here every week for a lox bagel and it is always so delicious, they also have delicious matcha. the employees are super friendly and fast. They have a very impressive menu, great veggie options too, i have loved everything i’ve tried. I need to try some more drinks

Absolutely rude and slow service. Incredible that you are required to tip when you place your order, well before you experience the mist passive aggressive service this side of the equator. If you are pressed for time in the morning, try somewhere else.
