Lula has always had good coffee and their aesthetic is super cute. I moved away so last time I was in town I stopped by and got a drink and their breakfast sandwich. It was probably one of the worst breakfast sandwiches I’ve ever had. Idk what bread they use but it was so tough i couldn’t even take a bite and just ended up tossing it.

They refused to serve me because I was naked and armed with a 12 gauge around my waist. Not happy. I think a woman has the right to practice her religious practices anywhere.

My 2026 got off to a bad start this morning when I was walking my dog and decided to stop at my favorite local café, Lula, and was told the health department dinged them and they're no longer allowing in pets. Sure enough they had a new sign on the front door that I hadn't even noticed because I've been in there with my dog dozens of times over the years. The sign says, “Pets not allowed – it’s not us, it’s ‘them’”
This really pissed me off. How dare the health department intrude on our freedom like this? If the owners and employees of Lula are cool with pets, pets should be allowed regardless of what the county says. If someone doesn’t like it, they have the right to patronize a different cafe.
I don’t know what specific penalties the county threatened them with, but I encourage the owners to defiantly flout this stupid ordinance and go back to allowing pets, just like many other local establishments in the Junction are doing. I’d gladly pay whatever fine they impose out of my own pocket and I’m sure dozens of other pet-loving customers in this neighborhood feel the same way. Take up a collection. Call it a “screw the man” fund. This really sucks and in a free society we should be able to democratically chose whether dogs are allowed in cafes and not be under the thumb of some overreaching nanny state.

Super cute centrally located coffee shop with neat themed areas. You can generally a quiet spot to sit but still has a vibe. Drinks are tasty and the menu has plenty of options to pick from. The mini seating areas are all decorated differently and make for a great spot to catch up or talk to friends.

My second favorite coffee location I visited during my trip to Seattle was such a cute spot. The staff worked quickly, always with smiles and laughter while serving customers. It was truly a great experience here.
Haven't found a better chai latte in WS than Lulu's spicy chai made using Maya concentrate. Like this place for its seating areas, speedy service, and variety of beverages. Recommended.

I really like an iced West Seattle Fog here. They’re pretty fast, the place has a lot of cool little rooms to hang out or work, and the people are nice. It is a little bit pricey, but no more so than other local coffee shops.
