Beware new ownership! They no longer take greenlake bar and grill gift cards or promotions purchased in the past. There is no mention of this anywhere so you don't know that gift cards are invalidated. They also don't even bother to tell regulars (who the staff knew had large gift cards) that those were invalidated until it was time to pay. As a minimum courtesy there should be a sign stating this. There was no notice either at the restaurant or by the staff, that the gift cards would be invalidated before it happened. This seems, if not illegal, like very bad business practices.

The lack of proactive notification by the staff that knew us and sold us the gift cards is the worst part. The service here had always been subpar. We have had multiple times that we have seen people leave after being seated, because no one went to take their order. We personally have experienced >45 minutes waits for canned drink service, even when the restaurant was empty.

Do not reward the new owners, who did not consider loyal customers when purchasing this location and do not honor past obligations.

*There is another location that might honor some of the deals and gift card but it is in Lake Forest Park which is little comfort to regulars that live in greeklake.

Mid place, mid food, steaks not evenly cooked, potato’s were raw, canned beans for sure, salad tasted like smashed potato for some reason, mid service
Every waiter seemed rushed and stressed out for some reason, even with the low amount of people inside. still good people just a mid place in every manner

Great location. Had brunch before heading to the park. $5 mimosa deal was good. Drip coffee for $4 was on the higher side (Didn’t get refills)

Before 11am they do have a better brunch deal, but we missed it.

*They have some mini tree trunks that are not attached to the lights by the tables so don’t pull them out

Stopped by for a late afternoon appetizer in a quiet booth to work for a bit. Location is great, food is great, it turns out the service is excellent too! Thanks team, I really enjoyed my time with you!

Andra was so welcoming and nice, she made our experience amusing! We ordered biscuits and gravy (nothing special but good) the eggs Benedict was disappointing but they tried to fix it. Props to the server. I will be back and try more drinks :)

Loved the service and the staff. Beautiful day to have lunch with family and friends. Not to far from Greenlake to walk around with lots of activities to do in the area.

Normally I go there and everyone is nice and helpful. Service is great. This last time not so good. I’m not sure if he was owner or manager. Having a bad day or he’s always looking angry and flustered. But physically he looked up set. He spoke like he was upset. He actually pointed at customer and said rudely said have you been helped and did the same to me. I asked if I could sit at the table outside towards the back and he said no bc it’s a four seater. I sit there so often lately I call it my office. Anyway I’ll admit i handled it poorly and I left. I enjoyed an amazing fish and chips at Atlantic crossing a block away. My review is on the past experience not today’s. I recommend GL BnG.

The food was surprisingly delicious. The wild mushroom risotto was delectable and the mixed greens salad was a generous portion and filling. Good selection of local beers. The worker also gave us great recommendations for things to see in the local area as we were only visiting. Overall, worth a visit for a drink and some food x
