I checked this place out because we wanted to try bubble tea. We also tried the banh mi, which was also delicious and very reasonably priced. The staff were so kind in explaining the drink types and the sandwiches were just as I remember when I visited Vietnam. Highly recommend!
My husband stopped into Luu’s Cafe for lunch on Sunday. It was our first time visiting. We each ordered a banh mi - I got the bbq pork and he got the chicken meatball. Both sandwiches were absolutely delicious! The bread was light as air, the meats were hot, and had the perfect amount of toppings. I have a feeling Luu’s Cafe will become our go-to spot for Banh mi sandwiches! On our next visit, we plan to branch out and try some of the beverages. We dined-in and there were lots of people popping in for beverages. We noticed people were buying all different drinks, which made us excited to try them. We’re already looking forward to our next visit.
5/5 y'all are my favorite boba place I go here every week (or even twice a week) and have been for 5 years. I'm pretty sure that 90% of my income has gone to you. My friend and I have tried every flavor, everything is so tasty and anyone who gives lower than a 5 is wrong. Highly recommend the Bahn mi, it's so good, I got the chicken one today.
The best banh mi I’ve had in North Seattle, and I’m also quite partial to their bubble tea.
Best after school boba spot ever.
Best vegan bahn mi sandwich! Service was quick and staff were so friendly. I also had a mango smoothie. Hit the spot!
I don’t think the bond me here is very good but my in-laws like it so we eat here a lot. I really like my in-laws so I do what I can to appease them. I would say their macaroons make the trip. The bubble tea here also fits the legal description of bubble tea. If there was a better bubble tea place within walking distance, I would definitely go there instead. I don’t want to seem rude and this is kind of getting to a harsh review. I just want you guys to know that you could do better.
Vietnamese coffee was ok, but not quite as much sweetened condensed milk as we had in Vietnam. The macarons were not good.
Great food, super sweet staff, good prices. A homely little spot and exactly what the neighborhood needed.
Taro tea and macarons were so good!!

A must-visit if you’re in the area! I really love the bubble tea and Saigon sandwiches! It can get busy at times so be aware of that.
Kid-friendliness: They have video games, no bad words in background music.
