Their paper bags literally rip everytime, even if I buy one item. So unprofessional

I like that this is an option, but they frequently don’t give me the extras I paid for. Missing guacamole and hot sauce happen on nearly ever order. On my order tonight I paid for 3 hot sauces and 2 guacamoles and only got 2 hot sauces. I want to love this place, but the constant mistakes and wasted money are frustrating.

I order takeout from here (chicken burrito ?) and it's great. I appreciate finally getting a local vegan Mexican food option. Non-vegan friend loves it too.

Not sure why, but you can only order the food here as takeout by ordering online, so even though we were clearly dining in the restaurant, our food came to our table in a bag, wrapped in foil with salsas in their own containers. Seemed a bit wasteful. My tacos didn’t arrive very hot and since they were wrapped in foil, they were messy and had sauce all over the place. The queso dip was pretty good texture wise and came out hot, but weirdly tasted like vanilla. I tried all three salsas and they were just okay/bland, the hottest one did have a kick to it. Chips and corn tortilla were good. Fried fish protein was actually pretty good, the batter was accurate and texture was nice, not mushy. Mushrooms were well seasoned. I think I prefer just the regular Veggie Grill.

Vegan, yes, but does it have quality and taste?Absolutely, not! Tortilla smeared with runny avocado paste that most certainly came from a squeezy bottle, few fine shreds of cabbage, 1 or 2 thin slices of mushroom, 2 or 3 grilled pieces of fake meat, it's not healthy or delicious, just tasteless and pathetic!

I ordered the chicken burrito, but it should be renamed the rice burrito because 90% of the filling was white rice. I maybe had two bites of chicken (only one that I can recall) and there was nothing else inside the burrito. I also ordered a mushroom taco but it wasn't anything special. Pick up is at Veggie Grill at U Village. The parking lot is an absolute sh*t show. There's nowhere to park for quick pick up, it's impossible to find parking, and you're constantly dodging entitled UW students walking around the parking lot without checking for cars and cutting you off with their Range Rovers. One star because the sauce was pretty good and another because it's a vegan restaurant and I hope I just caught them on an off day.
