I recently purchased a bike from Metier and can't say enough good things about the experience. Everyone knows that supporting your local shop is important, but at Metier it isn't just an altruistic undertaking. The guys at Metier went above and beyond to get my fit dialed in and have more experience than anyone in the area building these wonderful (and often complicated) machines. I want to thank Luke in particular for taking such good care in building my new S5. This all makes for an experience head and shoulders above what I would have had purchasing elsewhere, even if I still get smoked by Todd (the owner) on the Saturday group ride.

Luke, Justin, and the whole crew at Metier rock. They made this custom build extremely painless.

I highly recommend bike fitting with Todd at Metier! Originally, i walked into the bike fitting session convinced that my current bike size is incorrect. Todd (the owner) methodically assessed my then-current position, my posture, and he understood my goals. What we found was that my bike size was correct, but needed a rather major change in the saddle height and set back determined by a fit I did somewhere else some years ago. He could have recommended me to a different bike size and sold me a frame, but his fitting allowed me to stay with my bike and to grow with a revised fit. Todd is great to work with and I will come back again.

Have chanced on this out of the way gem because my friend was interested in high performance street bicycles.
I'm a big coffee snob and I've tried coffee shops from lake Union and all through downtown in Seattle. This shop has served me consistently what I believe to be the best espresso coffee I've tasted so far in the City. The baristas are friendly, the bicycle racing vibe adds to the ambiance.

I’ve been in for two bike fits at Métier and the process is world class. Todd really knows his stuff and has been doing this forever. You can try different positions out and components as well, dial in your fit for your goals on the bike and overall comfort. There is also a cafe and a large selection of cycling kit available! Surely my favorite bike shop in Seattle.

This place is absolute rip-off! I got my brakes adjusted on my bike and the kickstand tightened. It took 10 minutes and they charged me $66. They didn’t replace the brake pads - just tightened them. I can’t even imagine how expensive it would’ve been to have them actually replaced.

Retul fit with Todd solved a bunch of problems I was having and couldn't possibly have solved myself. Geometry has been corrected down to the millimeter and has transformed my performance to its best in years. I'm one with my bike again, and I am 100% delighted. 🚀

Amazing place where those in the know work, teach, and live their Metier of cycling as a way of life. Nothing but quality selection and expert guidance and service.

Awesome team, awesome shop. Saved my a** by quickly replacing a spoke and truing the wheel before a big trip. Thanks folks!

I had been putting off fixing my issues with my bike when I happened to ride by this place. When I saw coffee and bikes I thought this is the perfect spot for me! The mechanic (Sean I think?) gave me a free evaluation and fixed both the issue with my derailleur and my brakes. Really appreciated it! I'll definitely be back if I need any more work done on my bike

If you’re like me, you probably spent too much time researching about bikes and getting lost down that rat hole. Todd at Métier helped me find the perfect bike for my body, riding goals and budget. They’ve reinvigorated my love of biking and I have the bike I’ve always wanted.

Visited Seatle for a wedding and decided to rent a bike to explore the area. The fellows at Metier hooked me up with a beautiful Cervelo and were the epitome of hospitable. They were cleaning the individual spokes when I arrived and ended up just talking bikes for 45 min before I left. Was having knee issues so they did a mini bike fit to make sure I was comfy on the rental first. They gave me route ideas and invited me to a group ride which I couldn't make but so appreciated the invite. Even though I live in New Jersey, I'd travel cross country to check out the shop again. 100% can recommend to any cyclists out there.

Luke did an outstandng job installing my RideWrap protective foil on my Canyon Endurance CF7. He is a personable, competent and very passionate bicycle professional.

Todd was meticulous, professional and precisely explained all aspects of the bike fit. Extremely comprehensive and made well justified recommendations.
