I recently purchased a pair of Q36.5 Unique Pro Road shoes, which I absolutely love, best road/race shoe in my opinion. I had the Solestar black insoles in them but they were just not quite right, Todd recommended getting a pair of the Sidas custom footbeds, and WOW !!!! what a difference they have made, they have taken and already amazing pair of shoes to the next level. The insoles provide 360 degree support and really cradle my foot, I was not expecting the amount of lateral support they provide , and having the metatarsal pad placed exactly where it’s needed for my feet is something you just can’t get with an off the shelf pair of insoles and was probably the worst thing about my old insoles. I’m so impressed in getting another pair for my winter shoes. Thanks Metier.

Métier Cycling & Cafe is such a killer spot. Whether you're dropping in mid-ride or just hanging out, the vibe is awesome. Their Kouign-amann might be the best in Seattle—seriously. Justin was super thoughtful and just an all-around rad dude. He knows his stuff and is clearly passionate about cycling, and it shows. If you're into bikes, coffee, and good people, this place is a must.

I have to say I couldn’t be happier with the service I received from Metier. I Have had them tune up, and set up bikes for tubeless in the past but when faced with the huge decision whether or not to upgrade the drivetrain on my number 1 bike, or not. Luke walked me through the process and answered all my questions got me taken care of, completely painlessly! I would highly recommend this shop, for service, or sales to any cyclist! Thank you so much for all your help!

I have had many bike fits and Metier Cycling was fantastic. Great computerized analytics and attention to detail in bike geometry recommendations and dialing in components for ideal riding/racing efficiency and comfort.

I've only dealt with this shop online, but the experience with them was superb. I ordered a fairly high value bicycle. First, Sean, Sales Manager, reached out to let me know they only had the floor model, he offered to either cancel the order or provide a discount. I took the discount and very much appreciated the upfront manner in which he handled this.
Eagerly awaiting my new bike, UPS literally drops the ball, or the bike fell off the truck or something....who knows? Anyway, again, Sean was always a pleasure to work with and provided a refund immediately. I had to ultimately buy the bike somewhere else, there was a very specific bike I wanted, but I was super impressed by this shop. I only wish I had a shop this cool near me! (Then maybe I wouldn't have to deal with UPS losing a whole bike!)

Spa Day for my bike! The Metier team did another wonderful job tuning up my bike. From shift/brake adjustments, to new tires and a bike wash – she rides faster and looks great! Thanks guys!

Did bike fit Todd, he did awesome job. Did my indoor training next day and I can just ride indoor for a few hours in total comfort, on social rides over weekend it was blast! Totally recommend Metier for bike fit!

I’ve had an amazing experience buying a bike through Metier - from the initial fit, to deciding on the right bike, to the purchase and build, Rick, Todd, and the rest of the Metier team were so helpful and knowledgeable. Throughout the whole process, no stone was left unturned and I walked out with a beautifully built bike that fits great.

The shop is worth the visit in and of itself, with great coffee and brews on tap. This place and its people ooze love for cycling!

The quality experience, be it buying, inquiring, training, or just staying up on the world of cycling starts as soon as you meet Metier’s doors. I’m an 18 year believer in the satisfaction that Todd Herriott and his team can deliver.

My experience with block training was great. My goal was to ride through the heart of te Pyrenees from the Atlantic to the Mediterranean in less than 100 hours. Todd and I started with NSYCD measurements to assess power and then worked out a training and on-bike eating/hydration plan to build me up over a period of months to peak for the event. Needless to say, I had a great ride.

Metier is a one stop for gear, training, and team. Hands down the best bike shop in Seattle, and I'm sure rivals any shop in the US or Europe. I've been training with the Team this year and while challenging, has made me better. Lastly the mechanic is top notch and my bikes are always running perfect. You are missing out if you have not checked out Metier !

I’m absolutely thrilled with my bike fitting experience here! Todd is exceptionally professional, knowledgeable, and attentive. He took the time to understand my needs and made precise adjustments that delivered real results — I’m now roughly 30 watts stronger and feel significantly more comfortable on the bike. I couldn’t be happier with the outcome. Highly recommended for anyone looking to optimize their fit, comfort, and performance!

These guys knock it out of the park with their customer service. I ordered a cycling computer online and it was missing a minor component. I sent one email and they immediately responded, apologized, and sent a replacement which included a pound of coffee (worth more than the missing mount) and some other swag! Thanks! You'll be my go to bike shop!
