Wow! Fried chicken sandwich with medium heat and pickled daikon for the win!!! And yes, it was spicy. Paired with the kimchi Mac & cheese made it the best meal I’ve had in a while. The chicken is amazing but if you only try one thing, try the kimchi Mac & cheese! It’s amazing. Crevice was super friendly and quick. Vibe is chill. Prices are reasonable.

Ma’ono is inside Rachel ginger beer. Good combo! Ginger beer and chicken! I’ve been wanting to eat here for some time and I’m so glad I did! I went with the chicken tenders and they are huge! 3 to an order and I only ate 2 and took the other one home. They were so good and there was so much chicken I couldn’t even believe it. I think they are known for spicy chicken so I went with the mild. The mild still had a kick to it but dipped in ranch and it was just right. We were trying to figure out what side dish to get and wanted to try something different so the employee talked us into the Mac & Kimcheese. I was hesitant cause I wasn’t too sure about Kimcheese. I’m glad I tried it but dang it was so spicy for my taste buds cause I’m a baby. The two bites I had were a good flavor but couldn’t handle the heat. Took it home to the husband and he enjoyed it. Great spot for a group inside and the place opens up to the outside on warm days.

got the Fried Chicken SandwichI don't know the last time I've had food this badThe fact that this sandwich was actually served is pretty ridiculous in my opinionThere are so many problems hereFirstly, the bun tastes awfulIt barely had any sauce, didnt seem to be toasted, and tasted like straight up stale, cardboard-like breadIt was not fluffy in any sense whatsoever.I don't even know how you can get buns this bad - I could get significantly better buns by just going to a local grocery storeHow did this even happenThe toppings were like 90% lettuce and...nothing else? Pretty much the entire burger was just filled with lettuceThe mayo was basically completely absentThere was like one pickle which didn't taste goodNow to get to the absolute worst part of this meal, the chickenStarting from the outside, I ordered 'Hot', but what I got was spicy but still managed to have the breading taste pretty awfulIt tasted like a spice mix was caked into the breading with no regard to flavor whatsoever - like the only goal was to make somethingfeel spicy with no other regard for any other kind of flavor, like saltThis breading wasn't even crunchy at all - it mostly just stuck to the inside of the meat and provided an outer layer that was more painfulto eat than anything elseSpeaking of painful to eat, the actual chicken meat itself was so incredibly dry I was shocked that this was really the product that an actualrestaurant servedWas this cooked to 200 degrees or something? How is this even possible. If I can make chicken that's significantly juicier than this, that becomesa pretty major problem for your restaurant. It would be in your best interest that the employee forgot about this chicken piece as it was cooking -because if this was your actual intent - I don't know how you're still in businessThis was so bad at points even biting into the chicken wasn't enough to separate the breast - I literally had to pull the chicken away with my teethto even take a bite. Incredibly dry and almost entirely inedibleAt least the mac & cheese wasn't as bad as the chicken - although the cheese barely even tasted like cheese at all. It just felt like pasta with a dustof kimchi seasoningThat's not even bringing up the fact that this burger cost 16 dollars - which is incomprehensibly expensive for such a tragic creationI could get a hundred times better chicken sandwiches at Wingstop for 10 dollars lessOverall, a disastrous experience. 1.5/10

It was a very busy day for both Ma’ono Fried Chicken and Rachel’s Ginger Brew but we still were able to get a spot to sit. The food came out warm but not hot. Which would be fine for the chicken sandwich but the fries at warm to cooler temp made them not quite as tasty. I would go for the level 3 spicy next time.

A little hard to find the first time, but a fantastic atmospheric spot. The service is typically quick, though can be a bit of a wait when it’s busy. Spicy level does vary, sometimes each level can be more or less spicy.Dietary restrictions: Chicken is dipped in a pork fat base

Great place for chicken and fries if you want a delicious snack!! Inside a drink place that doesn't serve food so it's PERFECT

I went with a friend who's a huge fan of fried chicken sandwich. The sandwich was pretty good! I had the mild but barely felt any spice. I should've gone up to a medium...oh well, next time. I find it annoying that Ma'ono closes an hour before Rachel's ginger beer. And they don't even have the hours listed in the sign at the entrance! At least the hours at yelp is correct, but if my friend didn't point it out we would've missed out on the sandwich. I was worried also at first if the chicken sandwich may be too big as the one I had at Ooink was huge and it took me nearly an hour to finish. But that was not an issue here. I prefer the chicken sandwich at Ooink because it's definitely more bang for your buck and I found it more flavorful. But if I'm craving chicken sandwich and I don't want it to be too heavy, I'd choose Ma'ono.

After tonight's experience, finally decided to call it a loss after giving Maono a handful of tries. After reading the reviews we've gone here for a quick bite and drinks and honestly the quality and service has gone down hill. A few months ago we went here and saw they had run out of chicken. And surprisingly nowhere near the time of closing. A month before that, the strips were really dry. The time before that, the fries a served cold. But continued going because it was quick service for a chance at well seasoned chicken. Tonight was all service. Couldn't even make it to the eating part! We walked in and it was a pretty slow night. Everybody looked like they either got their order or has already ordered and waiting for food. No line! Got up to the kiosk to order and saw a handwritten sign to order via DoorDash on the tablet. Was in the middle of downloading the app, and saw two guys approach the line and ended up ordering from the kiosk, we lined up and as soon as she started ringing up the first person... then she rang up the 2nd guy and when it was our turn, walked away as we approached again to order. Thought "oh maybe she'll come back" since she saw us. Stood there for a couple of minutes as her and another employee walked back and forth past us. The kiosk was still facing us so I wasn't sure if we were supposed to enter in our orders or what? So I got to the part where our orders were on the screen ready to pay but waited until til acknowledged... But the same lady that took the two other peoples orders had to bring an order out and as she walked behind us had the audacity to walk by behind us and say "Well that's not ordering online" and continued to walk back into the back. There is a door bell to ask for service... but do we really need to press the button if you were already serving/ringing up two others before us? Do we need to press the button when you've walked by us 3 times after? Clearly they're not pressed for business, so we just took ours elsewhere and definitely didn't need to order online when there are people working the place.

Waited over an hour because they lost the order. They apologized and put a rush on it, but that’s it. When you screw up as a business, the onus is on you to make it right. Ma’ono hasn’t learned that. Their process for putting to-go orders on a shelf in a crowded bar space is a recipe for frequent mistakes.Update: Giving back 2 stars because the chicken sandwiches are amazing/especially delicious.
