Only bad thing about this place are the customers who don’t understand personal space, but that can’t be helped. That aside the staff is always amazing, the bread is always delicious and their sparkling water on tap SLAPS.

Gem in an accessible neighborhood. Mid-century modern atmosphere... It's busy for good reasons.

Lots of mouthwatering sugary treats. We were looking for a sandwich. Not many options. A one cup serving of organic green salad was overpriced at $8. I've been to Macrina downtown in the past and it's always been wonderful. This was very very ordinary.

A slice of Paris in Seattle. Great coffee, clearly marked vegan pastries, and of the best mini baguettes I've ever had.

The food, bread, pastries, and coffee are fantastic, but service can be mind-numbingly slow. I often choose a different café for morning coffee just because I know Macrina will be a 20-30 minute affair. It's not just that they get busy... they don't seem to take or prepare orders efficiently. Shame, because the food and drink really is excellent.

As others have mentioned the service at the capitol hill location is atrocious. I waited for ten minutes to be helped near the far end of the counter as the signage indicated. However, the person working the front counter kept helping people who walked in after me. Why have signage and ask people to wait in a particular spot if you're just going to help anyone whoever you see in front of you?

Excellent customer service provided by the team here! I was impressed by the care that I received and the extent the staff went through to make sure my experience was a great one! Thank you so much Macrina Bakery for employing such great staff who understand the value of excellence in customer service, it is a rarity nowadays.👏🏽❤️

Busy location, good gluten free baked treats. Coffee is good from here, not always my favorite.

So i went there with my family for coffe and some pastries, after and was served coffe in paper cup, pastries in a paper bag and Nutella Cheesecake in a box, when i asked can i be served on on plates and coffe in ceramic cup as i saw other customers that was seting in the tables, they responded oh we are short staffed and we can't wash dishes.
And all of these after very considerable tip, which they did not deserve it all with that treatment and that attitude and could not revers it.
Definitely not recommended this location.
If i wanted a paper cup i would go to Starbucs.
