I have never been, everyone raves so I went to the one on Roosevelt. Nice staff but I paid $9 for half of their carne sandwich and there was nothing but bread! My first clue should have been that the box was light as a feather. I took it out and there was barely any chicken, no peppers, just pesto spread on a slice of bread. Never going back there again! Over priced and don’t deliver the goods
I worked here for 2 years. between 2018-2020. the employees cooking your bread DO NOT WEAR GLOVES!!! they treat their employees like absolute garbage and it reflects in the quality of your bread.
I love this location! Right across from the Maple Leaf Reservoir Park, it’s a great way to start or end a nice walk. Lots of different baked goods to choose from - coffee cakes, pastries, cinnamon rolls, desserts, and heartier fare, and a big selection of drinks hot or cold. They have plenty of indoor seating including tables and booths, and outdoor seating. Staff is very friendly and patient (it’s hard to choose what food to get) and their stock levels are always good - unlike other bakeries (I went at 3pm and they had a big selection still!).
The service is too slow. There is no rush to get customers moving they spend half of the time punching things into an iPad with zero interaction, this can’t be the future. The food is good though so I guess that makes up for it.
This bakery and cafe it’s my favorite. The food is fresh and delicious. The coffee tastes amazing. Also it’s a good place to dine in.
So glad I don't live too close. The pastries are irrisistible. The morning roll and cinnamon roll are my favorites, but their bread and croissants are great too.
Fresh coffee and food .
Make to order
Perfect cup of coffee and copious amounts of bakery goods
Bakery & cafe across from Maple Leaf Park. Excellent selection of pastries, quiche and light lunch items. Indoor and outdoor seating so people with pets can enjoy a latte and croissant no problem. Excellent quiche but the chocolate and peanut butter cake I ordered had to be returned and replaced because it had a strand of hair. And the mocha latte I ordered was just warm even though I requested it piping hot. Latte was too sweet so will order something else next time.
Street parking only and very limited. Recommend taking the #67 bus which stops steps from the bakery.

Although this is a popular place for families with small children, I didn't find it noisy and kept very clean. Customers sharing tables is great idea too. Price quality quantity service are same as others. Honestly no idea why this is popular.
The line moves but could be faster. Mostly because customers cannot make a decision. table and parking moved a bit slow too. The bad for the neighbors. You can see residents put out signs for please do not block driveway.
Kid-friendliness: Plenty of space between tables. Lots of other families with small children.
Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of space between tables but inside do have a step from the order/food counter to seating. You will need to come with someone to order.
