Living in the area, I've passed by this bar countless times but never had the opportunity to visit until St. Patty's Day. I finally decided to give it a try, and it was a blast! They featured live music, tap, and sean nós dancing, along with outdoor seating arrangements. Despite the busy day, the service was exceptional and attentive. A fantastic neighborhood bar indeed!

Nice neighborhood bar. Kid friendly. Basic bar food which can be hit or miss. Decent beer selection. Location is great but feels a bit uninspired.

Madrona Arms is a centerpiece of its surrounding neighborhood- a sticky, cozy pub that excels in its comfortability. This is undoubtedly a place for sports-lovers, and for that reason, it can get loud. The Arms plays all the relevant games, and ends up serving as more of a social hub than a restaurant. If you are looking for a quiet spot to wind down for the night, I might skip this one. Food here is mediocre. I wouldn't describe Madrona Arms as high quality; if anything, the food is subpar. Service, however, is amazing, friendly and safe. The waiters/waitresses are spectacular at making you feel right at home. Although I wouldn't come here to eat a world-class meal, I certainly would to munch while watching the 'Hawks game. Madrona Arms is perfect for a night out with friends, catching your favorite team's big matchup, an informal date night, or a meetup with old acquaintances. In fact, as I look back throughout my years, I realize that this little pub holds some of my fondest memories. Come here to guarantee that your night will not be wasted.

I had an awful experience here. The bartender who was serving us did not care about us at all. My partner and I had ordered the beef stew, fries and wings to split and even told the server we were splitting. We only got the beef stew and fries. He didn't even bring out an extra plate or bowl. When I asked the bartender if the wings were still coming out he stated he did not hear us ordering the wings. I explained to him that we would like the wings and did order them. He said the kitchen was closed. I have a lot of food allergies and was really looking forward to the wings to have as a mean of protein to pick at. I ended up paying $45 for some beef stew and fries that I couldn't even eat with our drinks and was on the verge of tears because of how starving I was after such a long day. I am disappointed with their service and lack of empathy. Even just a 10% discount just to express some empathy would have been really nice, but no. No empathy whatsoever.

Excellent service! What a great crew at this local neighborhood Irish pub. Come here and feel like you're part of the family. Great place for connecting with people at the warm and friendly bar after work. Watch sports on the many surrounding TVs, bring friends and family for a spacious table or booth, and enjoy the delicious offerings...especially the fish and chips, BLT, burger, beef stew, salmon ceaser, and a great selection of beers, wines, and cocktails. Family-friendly, a great place to bring out of town visitors, and to get a little work done in the afternoon. Madrona Arms is my third place!

Always great service and food! Love their Cuban! Can get a bit noisy but with Covid often prefer takeout anyway!

Our neighborhood pub! We love coming here since the pub food is solid and it's very family friendly. We are often not the only family with a sweet baby in tow, so we feel welcome. Plus, the drinks are great too!

Just moved from NJ about a year and a half ago now... this is nothing like an Irish pub.My sister has lived here for a decade and loves the food... it's nothing special in the least. The atmosphere and vibe are more like a coffee shop than a bar, which is odd but fine... even so, it's a little TOO chill for my liking, the telltale sign being that it's family oriented. Chalk it up to the neighborhood. They're fine. But as some sort of "irish" pub? Absolutely not. Sure, I'm a stupid American, but at some point during the week, we'd better be blasting some Flogging Molly.Back at my mainstay, Nugent's in Elizabeth, NJ, they even had the local FD and PD come in and play the bagpipes for St. Pat's one year. Definitely not for kids, occasionally dangerous, but us locals and regulars treated people like family. If you want a bar to be a bar like on TV and in movies, this ain't it. It's exactly like the surrounding neighborhood.
