I was a bit underwhelmed after reading such good reviews. The service was outstanding - friendly, happy, and fun. A sign says they cook to order, but there's still a hot hold line where some ingredients are scooped into the container which then sits on the counter for a while waiting for the cooks to add other items. The food, which is the main attraction, left a lot to be desired. Honey sesame chicken had good flavor, the orange chicken was actually red and many pieces were questionably hard and maybe not even chicken. Chow mein noodles weren't seasoned at all - just plain noodles. Mixed veggies had a nice cooked consistency but the sauce tasted weird. The pork bun was mostly all breading with very little filling inside. I'm disappointed to say that most of the food was thrown out because it just wasn't edible.

Amazing customer service. Very fast, friendly and funny. They have regular customers and remember everyone by name. The food is great, wonderful selection. Cannot recommend it enough.

Best quality, best portion sizes, best people, best Chinese is Seattle! Orange chicken and house chow mien is our go-to, but everything there is made with care and love! The owners remember your name and make you feel so welcomed every time you enter. Highly recommend!!!

Absolutely the nicest people work here. The couple that owns this place greets you with the most sincere vibe. Their food is good quality Chinese/Hongkongese fast food, which beats Taco X and any other fast food places by a mile. I'd rather be here than going to the Whole Foods hot bar just across the parking lot. The portion is huge; I have to do two meals per lunch box. They have fast serve trays with entrees for you to get in and out quickly but they will also make any entrees on the menu for your lunch box with plenty of veggie/vegan options. Come support this local place. Highly recommended. I haven't felt so good recommending a place in a while. These people DESERVE it.

This restaurant has THE best customer service I have ever experienced! They were so kind, welcoming, fun, and funny! I felt like family the moment we walked in the door. They offered samples to try too. The portions are incrediblly generous and the food is very tasty! We went here on a whim after work and we will absolutely be back regularly!

This a gem of a local joint. Super nice family running it, also me to chat with in the shop. Very friendly and locally supporting. They make the stuff fresh to order and very quick. This hands down your best Chinese option if you are close to interbay, Queen Anne, Ballard or Magnolia. I would venture to say better than most in the Chinatown area of Seattle but I haven't tried it all. If you want the takeout stuff this is your answer. Still no dine in options as of 2 Dec 2022 but why would you do that if you can eat this awesome food at home.

My absolute favorite restaurant in Seattle! The staff is so welcoming, thoughtful, and kind, making every visit unique and another reason to come back. Not to mention the food is AMAZING and the portions are great for sharing. I 100% recommend the spicy tofu with vegetables, or literally anything on the menu, it’s all delicious!

If you're ever having a bad day and need some lunch - go to Magic Dragon. The man and woman who work here (I assume they're the owners) have single-handedly turned my bad days around with their kindness and positivity. It's impossible to leave this place without a smile on your face. Aside from the excellent customer service, the food is also good and the portions are huge! I usually get the fried rice and orange chicken and they're delicious!

Nicest staff ever. Ample portion! Some of the items are freshly made, so we had to wait for about 10 min for mongolian beef and mushroom chicken. But no complaints because it means it’s been made as we place an order. It was very warm and yummy!? will definitely revisit!

General Tao’s chicken was meh, I will try the spicy fried chicken next time and will update my review then.UPDATE!I trusted my fellow Google reviewers and got the spicy fried chicken! This will probably be the only entrée I’ll order from now on.Bite size fried chicken pieces that are crunchy, flavorful and smells really good. The level of spice I would rate it around 2 out of 5 stars.

The staff here add a personal touch to their interactions with customers that always makes you leave smiling! Convenient walk-up counter with both popular American-style Chinese food options and a made-to-order menu. Their egg flower soup is one of the best I've had-- extra well made and comforting for cold weather. Very reasonable prices, huge portions.

Every review highlighting the friendliness of the owners is spot on. I was told to go here by a friend and understand why. The food exceeded my expectations and now the Chinese food from back home will have a new standard to compare to!

In terms of service and friendliness this is really a nice place. In terms of food, it is a good portion but an average taste.

Saw this place on Tiktok and heard the owners are super nice! Which they were! The food was pretty good. We got the orange chicken, honey sesame chicken and the Tso gen chicken + chow mein. I wish the chow mein was more flavorful, I had to use the soy sauce as well as the sauce from the other chicken to spice it up. Until I find my go to spot for Chinese takeout, this will be it!

It took awhile for us to get our order, but the food was okay. The chow mein and fried rice was really bland so I had to use the sauce from the entrees to be able to it. The orange chicken was hard to eat as it felt as if it wasn't properly cooked. However, I loved their beef and broccoli and would definitely get it again if I visit! The owners were extremely sweet and I appreciated them trying their best to get everyone's food on time
