How special to get to experience one of the oldest Japanese restaurants in the country! Wonderful, classic Japanese dishes I’ve had a hard time finding in other parts of the US. Jean Nakayama (I think) was so kind and squeezed us in as walk-ins.

if you come with a party large enough (make sure you reserve in advance), they will put you in a tatami room. i always bring out of town friends and family here.

I came here for my bachelorette dinner! We were visiting Seattle from Boston, so no one in our party had been to Maneki before. As soon as we enter the door, we were greeted warmly and led to our table. The atmosphere was awesome. They put us in this amazing Tatami room. It was an experience like no other.
