Food was really good. Got the chicken teriyaki and stir fried vegetables, spring rolls, and crab wontons. Would highly recommend this place. The women at the front was also really sweet and really nice

I'm surprised by the reviews here having seemingly the opposite of my experience.
Service was great, the lady had our order ready and was plenty nice about it.
I ordered a combo teriyaki plate with chicken and spicy pork. Getting the pork spicy was an extra $3, which I thought was a little ridiculous but w/e. Partner got a bento box.
Everything seemed fine but the chicken was pretty bad. Teriyaki sauce itself was fine, but the chicken was rubbery, almost reminded me of the all-too-common 'woody' chicken that I sometimes would get in the raw chicken from Costco. I think they also cut the chicken along the grain, making each piece feel more rubbery and stringy than needed.
I'm hoping the chicken I got was just a one-off, will likely come by again, but if that's how the quality is here normally I have no idea how they maintain a good rating on here.

It was so gross I had to throw it all away. The chicken was rubbery and didn't seem done.

Manna Teriyaki, I believe, is a Korean-American run establishment that serves great honest food and the owners/personal are extremely personable. I went with the Japanese-PNW style menu and I had the C3 combo of Chicken Teriyaki, Chicken Katsu, and Gyoza. The salad was just iceberg lettuce (this is good as I do not care for carrots) with a slightly sweet dressing on the side, the teriyaki was seasoned perfectly, the katsu was nice and crunchy, the gyoza (whilst obviously not cooked at that particular moment) were tasty and crispy. The three sauces were exactly as they should be! Delicious! Manna Teriyaki is worth a trip to the nebulous Lake City. (Still on the westside of Lake Washington.) Manna Teriyaki offers Korean specialities as well, which I must make my return to sample. :)

I come here frequently… today I ordered over the phone for pickup and asked for one eggroll and thought I made it clear since I said it twice . I get there and she gave me two , I gently said I only ordered one and the woman who was checking me out got very frustrated and even tried to argue with me about how many egg rolls I said I wanted.. I didn’t really mind the attitude because I thought maybe she had a long day. She begins to slam recipients down and snatching everything she needed to grab in order to give me my food… i never got treated like this anywhere ever .. it honestly made me want to cry . I loved coming here but if she’s working I’m no longer going to be giving this company business .

This is a classic teriyaki place. No frills, no western style service, and no public bathroom.
They do their job well and are typical for Teriyaki joints. Expecting to be treated like the world revolves around you isn’t going to fly at most of these old school places. The goal is fast home cooked food to feed the hungry people who need it, not a to make you feel like a king. This is working people food. In a working class neighborhood. Don’t like it, don’t get teriyaki from a classic place. Maybe try one of the fancier places geared towards your sensibilities.
They are consistent, hard working, and have been a staple for as long as I have memories. The food is hot, good, will fill you up, and keep you fueled. Period. Which is the whole point of Seattle Teriyaki. Never change, Manna.

Normally I go to another teriyaki joint up on 15th but wanted to try Manna out since it’s in the neighborhood. Walked in on a sunny weekday evening and ordered chicken katsu to go. It’s your typical teriyaki joint - small and clean, with photos on the menu. Came to $17 and some change before tip. Waited less than 10 mins and was on my way. To my surprise, Manna gives out a large portion of katsu but the rice portion is quite small. They didn’t even fill the rice to the top of the box. Katsu is crispy and flavorful! Next time I’ll just ask for extra rice.
