Saw the Evening tv spot on your restaurant & had family take me when in town for grad. Great food; can’t wait to come again from Winlock
Ordered some frozen empanadas for a school event. They were totally delicious and easy to prep at home on the morning of the event. The kids LOVED them! Thank you, Maria Luisa Empanadas!

The best empanadas around! You can't go wrong with getting it baked or frozen. Also get the chimichuri! You will not regret it.The place is pretty big and they have a few parking spots to make it easy for pick up.

We had a catered lunch at work and the company brought food from your restaurant. Wow! The empanadas are so delicious-I had a chicken one and a dulce de leche one. So flavorful, not greasy. The chimichurri sauce put the chicken one over the top. Thanks so much! :)

The best empanadas in town!! You can take them frozen or eat them straight out of the oven. Reminds me of my days in Buenos Aires, and don't forget the delish chimichurri.
Ham & cheese empanada was way too heavy on the cheese, not that flavorful. The arrangement of needing to order online with little feedback when the order was ready was also confusing.
These are somewhat larger than any empanadas I met in Argentina.Ordered takeout online. Everything was ready very quickly, ready to go by the time we got there.Pick up is at Cafe Con Leche Cuban restaurant. Not clear if there is an eat-in option for Maria Luisa customers?Overall, a great takeout experience. Might be good if you saved a couple of parking spots for pickup customers.
Parking: Only parking available was on First Avenue. Parking on Forest was full and really no street parking exists on Utah.

Waited 45 minutes for an order. Nobody from the restaurant checked on us while we were waiting. We asked about where our order was, and they "didn't see it come through." However, they then knew the details of our order, so clearly it did come through. We asked them to cancel and went to another restaurant instead.
Had an order for a small party, but none of us could taste anything except for salt. Good service and portion sizes but too salty to eat.

I'm writing this review as I eat these amazing empanadas. My firm ordered catering for an office lunch and I am truly blown away at the flavor and texture of the pastry. Highly recommend!
This place is simply amazing! Pan Con Lechon, Pan Con Bistec, Maduros and Pollo Empanadas are great choices. Just get them all… you won’t regret the decision.
Inedible. I've eaten quite a few empanadas in my day. I wanted to try this one based on the reviews. I got one each type. All of them tasted as though the meat inside had been boiled for hours. Just so bad. I took one bite if each and threw the rest away.
So yummy and delicious. Really enjoy the Boca beef, Palermo chicken, Gesell salmon, Amagro ham & cheese and Boedo Dulce de Leches. Their chimichurri sauce is incredible. Excited to try the breakfast variety soon.
Spectacular empanadas! Authentic and fresh with just the right seasonings! They are the go to food for my kids and her friends, too. They just grab them about of the freezer (if we don’t have them cooked already) and pop them in the oven. Healthy hearty handmade meal for the kids that I feel great about. Great when working from home, too.
