I placed my order and it was up within 5 minutes even tho the place was very busy. I got the Miso ginger chicken taco's. They were yummy, the chicken was tender and flavorful and the corn tortillas soft and delicious. This Lil establishment sits right on the water. Great place to hang out or catch the water taxi to downtown Seattle.

I came to Seattle to visit my daughter. She suggested we come here. I had the kalua pork slider. It was very good. Fairly priced. The atmosphere was very surface shop vibe. I wouldn't say I got a Hawaiian vibe, but surf shop.

Review: Marination Ma Kai - Alki Beach Gem!
Marination Ma Kai on Alki Beach is the perfect spot for a quick, delicious, and incredibly satisfying bite, especially if you're taking the West Seattle Water Taxi downtown!
This place specializes in delicious Korean-Hawaiian fusion, and their famous tacos are the star of the show. I highly recommend mixing and matching the flavors—the Spicy Pork and the Kalbi Beef are always winners, served in a perfect soft corn tortilla with their signature tangy slaw. The portions are generous and the prices are fantastic for the quality you get.

Overall a good place. It is self service. I got fish and chips. The looks of fries were not that appetizing but it makes for that with crunch and taste. The kimchi fried rice was decent.

The biggest thing going for this place is the location. The location is really great with Seattle downtown view.

I wouldn't recommend their mango lemonade. It taste good but they need to cut down sugar content.

A bit pricey for what it is. Taste was ok.
Casual environment with a good view.

Had the tacos and the kimchi fried rice. Both were great. This place is on the dock that discharges people from the Seattle water taxi, so its sort of fun to watch who gets off the boat while you are there. Apparently there is a dive site adjacent to their location as we saw a several divers go into the water right there. Pretty cool experience.

Great tacos, really enjoyed the variety and flavor. Wonderful outdoor patio and spectacular view of the Seattle skyline. One of the best places to enjoy the sunset while eating dinner. Very reasonably priced and ample parking.
