If you want a delicious diner you should go here. It’s definitely to the point with no extras but it is absolutely yummy

Do not come here, food is not worth the price and the fried are disgusting. I feel sick after eating here, the staff were friendly but they don’t make up for the food.

I ordered the Crab Benedict for brunch and it was delightful. Simple and down to earth, with just the right amount of capers. The hashbrowns were also perfectly crispy without being a puck of potatoes. I'm not sure if I've ever had them that nice anywhere else.

They dont actually close at 5pm like their menu and google hours say. Came in a little after 4pm and was told their closed. I tried to get simple information out of the woman sweeping and basically had to play 20 questions to a decent answer what hours they are actually open and still didnt get one. Im work customer service too and its not hard to answer a question and then intuitively follow up with simple information that is relevant to customer inquiry.

Way too expensive for what we got. Charged 55 for onion rings, scrambled eggs and a chicken strip basket. The fries were left in the fryer for too long and stuck together. The onion rings were overcooked and greasy. The lemonade was 5.50 a glass and tasted like from concentrate juice.

Good place for a sitdown at the Pikes Market, food was very good and fast service. The diner could use some decor too.

Review: The Market Diner at Pike Place
The Market Diner is a no-frills, affordable spot tucked into one of the side buildings at Pike Place Market—easy to miss, but worth knowing about if you’re with kids or just want a simple, fast bite. It hits the basics well: burgers, chicken fingers, fries—all the “major food groups” for children and less adventurous eaters.
They serve breakfast & lunch all day, with some rotating specials like shrimp and chips or a Kobe burger, which offer a little variety beyond the usual diner fare. The food isn’t gourmet, and it doesn’t try to be. This isn’t a high-end dining experience, but it does get the job done if you’re looking to feed a family without blowing your budget or waiting in long lines.
I wouldn’t hesitate to eat here again, especially when traveling with kids or craving something straightforward. Just set your expectations accordingly: it’s casual, it’s fast, and it’s friendly to families who need a break and a burner

The only decent traditional American breakfast in downtown Seattle. The staff is attentive and kind and they make damn good grub! Why does breakfast have to be complicated or gourmet? The folks at the Market Cafe get it....
Delicious eggs, sausage, hash browns and toast! No fluff!
Hard to find...but worth the search and my goto breakfast spot in SEA when I'm on a layover!
Great place to get a quick bite to eat. I recommend to try.
