The older Asian woman at the register accused me of “stealing the last time I was there”. I’d only been there once before and paid for my items, so I’m unsure what she was referring to. I guess I may look like someone who stole previously? Either way she was straight up arguing with me about it when I tried to tell her she had the wrong person. I realized it was pretty useless so I left and told her I wouldn’t be giving the store my money if she was going to be accusatory. I understand theft is a large issue downtown but maybe don’t harass customers who are coming up to the register to give you their hard earned money.

Quick and affordable meals by weight (buffet). Low-frills keeps the cost down.

Takeout with a lot of delicious options. Great price (it's simply priced by weight). Nice people too.I went ten minutes before closing, and some of the popular items like terriyaki chicken, salmon, or mac n cheese was out, but there was still enough variety of good food to choose from. I'll come back earlier next time.

An absolutely wonderful hot/salad bar downtown. The food is fresh and delicious, the place itself is clean and well-stocked and the staff are so nice and kind. I come here every Tuesday and Thursday for a salmon salad when I'm in the office downtown and would recommend to everyone.

We’ve loved coming here for our office lunches. They have a good variety of hot entree items, fresh veggies, salad dressings etc. The staff have always been kind and attentive. Thank you, Market Fresh!

From looking at their website I thought this was a regular order-and-go place but it's actually a buffet bar type thing. Good quality food, charged by weight, and lots of options. Good prices on the drinks, too. The staffers were very sweet!

Just had breakfast from here and it was AMAZING!! The hashbrown and eggs were delicious and the bacon is PERFECT. I'm not a big fan of the sausage but my eyes were also bigger than my stomach! Lol. I wish I knew about this place back in my bar-hopping days, this is the best hangover food. I didn't try the salad yet so I will update when I do!!

the food & staff was great. self serve bar. very cheap too for a place in seattle. will definitely be comin back again!! highly recommended!!
I was excited to get there, but it wasn’t as fantastic as I thought it would be based on the pictures that were posted by others. It was at the height of lunchtime, so the food should’ve been fresh and plentiful not complaining about the taste, but more that it was dried out, and the quantity was small.
Really delicious! Self-service salad and hot bar. Lots of great options - everything I had tasted incredible.I made myself a salad and then had some rice and pineapple chicken which came out to about ~$13. It was a pretty light lunch, so something more substantial would probably be more expensive. They have a variety of options from different lettuce types, common salad toppings like beets, eggs, bacon bits, carrots, peppers, etc. As well as premade pasta salads, a variety of rice and potato options, and some really great entrees - the salmon in particular seemed really popular, but I didn't have it.This is definitely a place that caters to regulars and the more you go and get familiar with what you like and how to optimize your meal, the more value you'll likely get out of it.
Delicious food and friendly staff at Market Fresh. You self serve pick what you want to eat and the quantity. Pricing is based on the per pound of the box. A fully stuffed box goes for around $20, while a slightly less stuff like mine would be under $20.There was a wide variety if delectable meats to choose from, and at Market Fresh you can try a little of them all. I especially liked the Korean Bulgogi. The noodles were oily but very tasty as well, being my second favorite. The cooked zucchini was very nicely seasoned with umami flavor. Apart from meats, they have a good selection of pasta/carbs, vegetables and salad. My friend had a fully stuffed box and I had a slightly less stuffed box, and it came out to be $40 total for 2 lunches. The shop is centrally located in downtown, perfect for lunch. Overall for the price and selection, Market Fresh is an excellent choice. Staff was very nice and welcoming. This will be one of my go to lunch spots in the future.
