Super pretentious. Service was not good, either the waitress ignored us or they were understaffed. Bread was super stale. Entrees weren’t impressive. I was expecting more quality for how much they charge for everything.

This place sets the bar high. Wine selection off the beaten path yet very solid. The chef, the bar, and the staff pull off a super sophisticated yet casual vibe that makes for a very special experience. Seattle is a great city for restaurants but this one really stands out.

My bf & I had a Saturday evening dinner here to celebrate my birthday, and it was so lovely. Our waiter was so nice, the ambience was warm and comforting, and food was delicious! My bf ordered the rabbit confit and I had the roasted chicken, both were yummy! The owner even came out and talked to us about the wine selection. Great location too! Can't wait to be back and try more dishes. Next time, we want to sit on the chef’s counter.

Absolutely amazing!Living in Vancouver, Canada, we often travel to Seattle for a night and try to find a great place to eat. After enjoying brunch at Marmite, we knew we had to come back to try their dinner.Every drink and dish was amazing. The staff, including the owner/head chef, went above and beyond. Sitting at the chef's counter, we were able to learn, chat, and enjoy watch the food being prepared. We can't wait to return and hope to find a time to try their cooking class as well.

This might just be the best restaurant in Seattle. You know how some places make you want to go on and on about how good they are. Marmite is one of those. The Marmite team has some sort of, I don't know, a fluency with flavor. They know how to bring undertones to the surface, flavors you thought were a naturally subtle part of an ingredient is somehow given the limelight in Marmite dishes. It really makes you reconsider everything you've tasted before. Really heady stuff. Heated and covered outdoor dining available.

My friend and I were visiting from the Bay Area, we were walking by and took a look inside and decided to take a chance. The presentation of our food was amazing the taste of our food was impeccable. The staff was extremely helpful,friendly, and attentive. Watching our food being made was one of the coolest things I’ve seen. Not only did the owner come by and chat he was wanting to know where we were from.

I've been to Marmite a few times and I've always had a pleasant experience. Food is good and enjoy the atmosphere. However, I did make a reservation once and they cancelled it on me (24 hours beforehand) because of Block Party. I made this reservation a month in advice and it was bummer to have my reservations canceled with such a short amount of notice. This experience has salted me on Marmite. Just keep in mind to check your reservation beforehand with them by phone.
The food was fabulous from small plate and soup to dessert. Cooked perfectly.. Full of flavor both rich and delicate across courses. The service was exceptional. Craft cocktails were great. Ambiance was romantic, and intimate. Loved the patio seating.
