I ordered food from them from Uber $27 plus $18 shipping 40 something dollars to get my food here for the combination plate and they lowkey scammed me out of my money and gave me meat combination which is cheaper. I called them four times and they didn’t answer. I called them again and they hung up in my face after saying they were gonna talk to the kitchen. Never called back
To be franky, i didn't like their food. I had been there for two times and ordered two different meals: Tibs and Tibs Firir. It felt as if i was trapped.

Food was delicious and very authentic. Service only suffered because of language barriers. Decor and furniture could definitely use some taste and updates but the people were all very friendly and welcoming despite cultural differences.
Vegetarian options: We shared a vegetarian tray I especially enjoyed the collard greens, one selection was spicy but tolerable. Be careful of the red spice powder it is not for the light hearted
Parking: The only issue was some double parked vehicles in the lot but plenty of other parking options
Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome though ours weren't cultured enough to enjoy the food.
Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs besides into the restrooms

When I went in to pick up my order, the employee didn't know which order belongs to me, so she opens up the food container and touched the food (injera) with her bare unwashed hands. Before doing that, she was handling cash and drinks because she also works as a bartender. Labeling the food container with a marker by kitchen staff could prevent this from happening. Food safety is of utmost importance as many people have become seriously ill. Although the restaurant offers decent food, this is unacceptable behavior and poses a health hazard.

I came here with a big group as the only vegan and ordered a veggie combo. They asked if we wanted to plate everything together and I requested that the veggie combo be kept separate, which they did. Overall the food was good. The shiro and gomen wot were my favorites since they had the most flavor. The Atakilt was comparatively a bit bland. I did not enjoy the experience of having to eat mostly on my own while watching and smelling others chowing down on flesh. I might stick to doing this kind of meal with friends who will eat vegan.
The food quality was very disappointing. I ordered my husband lamb tibs (kulwa) and was given what seems like soup (mereq). Salad was not provided although it was listed as a side included. The injera completely broke down into an oatmeal consistency underneath the meat, extremely soggy. Not to mention not great of customer service on the line, neither of us will NOT be returning.
Much has changed. This used to be our favorite Ethiopian restaurant when the customer service was attentive and friendly and the food was flavorful and rich. Now, one can barely catch the eye of the young woman hostess and the food is somewhat dry and lacking in flavor. I so much want this once favorite spot to reclaim itself as one of my favorite neighborhood restaurants. Crossing my fingers.

I did not like the inside vibe but the food is really good. Especially I liked their flat bread.
DO NOT BUY GORED GORED WITHOUT LOOKING IT UP FIRST.
I went here with my grandparents and we got the dish "Gored Gored" because it was one of the only 3 dishes with no onions. Little did I know, it had no onions but it ALSO had no cooking involved in the process. All 3 of us ate raw beef, without knowing what it was, (WAS NOT DISCLOSED ON THE MENU) and 2/3 of us wanted to stop breathing after the experience while the 3rd one (me) temporarily stopped breathing. My opinion on life has rapidly declined every time I've thought of this meal. Please end my suffering and if you ever see me ordering Gored Gored again, Shoot me.
Thank you, and good night.

Wonderful Ethiopian restaurant tucked away in a neighborhood. After walking in, I was greeted by customers and staff; everyone was gracious and kind. They offer vegetarian and meat options, and having tried both in the mixed plate, they are delicious. The shiro and firfir were my favorites. Everything was well spiced, with a delicious flavor. The injera was light and soft. While the food took a while to arrive, it was worth the wait and they have a nice offering of Ethiopian beers to enjoy in the meantime. My only critique is that some of the entrees were on the cold side (there things can take days to make, so reheating is not unusual). Overall, I would go back and I did enjoy the food and atmosphere.
