Unless you are against ice cream for whatever reasons, I recommend ordering one with matcha soft-serve. The hojicha (roasted green tea) soft-serve is great too, but if one drink is all you can afford (either money or calories-wise) then go for matcha. The taste and consistency of the ice cream is as good as what you would find in Japan.

I didn't think match was that great until I got maiko's matcha this place is so good and I've gone back multiple times. My go to is either the matcha float with an ice cream swirl or just the matcha latte. Both are equally addicting.

Took us a few elevator rides to find this place. The website says it located in the third floor by the mini rail, but it actually on the second floor in the food court. Was disappointed that they don't have the fish cone today, but the ice-cream taste great. Portion is too big for me we got two smalls for three people to share.

Solid matcha softserve--just as good as other locations across the country that I've been to. The softserve is creamy and maximally matcha. Huge serving as well that I split with my friend. Highly recommend!

Finally came down to seattle and tried this place! I've been to the one in Honolulu. I'm sad they didn't have rotating flavors like the Honolulu location but the soft serve definitely didn't disappoint!! The consistency was perfect and the matcha was spot on!! It's a little bit inconvenient to go to unless you're shopping downtown though. We'll definitely be back!

Convenient grab and go stop for authentic matcha desserts. Had the soft serve and taste great. Fantastic treat for summer in Seattle!

Fast service, very efficient, very yummy. The space has a nice aesthetic and the ice cream is very photo worthy. There’s cool add ons and styles of ice cream to choose from. It’s all around really good.

My friend and I came here for an afternoon treat. There was a little line to order when we got here, but it moves quickly enough. We ordered a matcha parfait & the Swiss roll cake. Both were pretty good, though the matcha cake in the parfait were dense bc the soft serve was cold. The Swiss roll cake was very good though, and I would definitely order it again. I would definitely recommend going here for some matcha desserts.

The shop is located on the second floor of the mall. I was surprised of how good the ice cream was since it's mall food. Very refreshing and not too sweet. I would definitely recommend. Sadly though they were out of the Panna cottta, the Ube ice cream, and the pocky sticks.

I think I would have enjoyed it more had I tried their soft serve ice cream instead of a drink. The menu offers refreshing items that are perfect for the summer. ----- Matcha Chocolate Cream Latte: matcha latte with chocolate and cream ($6.00). The drink was rather sweet with a bitterness to it from the matcha. At first I thought it was good, but later on the flavor was too much for me and I couldn't finish the drink. The chocolate syrup was a nice addition. It's best before the ice melts and dilutes the drink. ----- Matcha Cream Latte: matcha latte with cream ($5.40). ----- The counter is located inside Westlake Center on the second floor at the food court. There are seating areas and restrooms along with shops in the mall.

I've been to another location in my hometown (Portland, OR) so I was pretty excited when I saw they had one down the street from where we were staying here in Seattle. I love matcha soft serve but blended with vanilla was even better. I went with the Maiko Special which comes with tons of extras (cornflakes, matcha cake, mochi, red bean, jelly, an Oreo, and pocky sticks). A load of sweetness but delicious and definitely worth it. My sister got the soft serve mixed ice cream. Unfortunately they were out of the black sugar boba but it was yummy nonetheless. I've also had just the matcha soft serve in a cup. If you're looking for something that's not overly sweet I'd recommend the matcha soft serve alone. Blended with vanilla adds some sweetness and I assume that the black sugar boba would as well. I'll definitely be back for the black sugar boba though in the future!

Love this place, especially the Hawaii location. My favorite thing to order here is the iced matcha green tea!

Matcha is in the name so you know what to come here for. Everything is matcha and that's the specialty - it tastes more authentic than what you might expect from other places simply because they hold back on the sugar to let the matcha flavor shine. That could be a pro or con depending on your personal tastes, but I appreciate it.I wanted to try the gold leaf soft serve and it wasn't until after I paid that they told me they ran out of the edible gold. Instead, they offered to give me the Maiko Special and I guess that was the next best thing to try. Unfortunately the prices don't quite align so I lost a few cents. This encounter shows some irresponsibility to me in their service, as they don't really track inventory I guess?Focusing more on the Maiko Special parfait here. It's a challenge to mix everything together and blend the flavors which is unfortunate. The cup is a majority cornflakes for a nice crunch but this means it's much harder to mix unless you eat a good amount beforehand. Also, cornflakes are pretty cheap so the value feels really low. The Kokuto Jelly though, this stuff is amazing. Somewhat of a honey grass jelly that I expect but so delicate and refreshing. Easily the best part of the parfait but hidden at the bottom so once again, mixing is hard and digging is a pain before eating half of the parfait. The drinks are just okay. Wouldn't come here for them. Instead, opt for the soft serve. Main takeaways are that the prices are fairly high and sweetness is on the lower end. "Service" and value could be better.

The drink was ok, but I had a horrible experience here. Their cashier was very inexperienced and likely to be a high school student. She took my order, and then came back with something I did not order because they ran out of cups of that size and requested me to pay extra for it for a thing I did not ordered. I am very offended by this.In a situation like that, if you knew proper social etiquette, you are supposed to at least ask me and give me the option to get a larger size.1) Either I say: no thank you, I would like a refund.2) You offer me the upgrade at no extra cost, or pour the correct smaller amount into the larger cup.3) I say I want the drink and will pay for a size upgrade. You should NOT be upgrading me and then asking me to put my card in to pay extra because you were out of small size cups. It is ridiculously rude to put me in that spot. I doubt I would ever come back here.
