Mbar is such a beautiful establishment! The service was great and food delicious. It is a bit pricey, but THAT VIEW! The view is a wonderful panavision of the Seattle skyline. Don't leave Seattle without a visit to Mbar!

My experience was average… The food and drinks were good. We ordered small plates: harra frites and falafel, and to drink, an Mbar Aperol Spritz and a Pamplemousse & Circumstance. The service wasn’t remarkable, and even though we had a reservation, they gave us a poorly located table. When we asked for one with a view, they said it was reserved-but so were we-. At one point, it started raining, and they didn’t offer blankets (there’s no roof on the terrace). Also, keep in mind there’s an extra charge. Good:the view is 10/10

mbar is a rooftop restaurant and bar close to South Lake Union. It's inside an indoor food hall building with relatively low amounts of parking in the area, so be prepared to walk. Inside, you must take an elevator up and then walk down a cool hallway with wonderful views of the city. They have dozens of tables inside and outside when you arrive on the roof, with a bar area as well. Their menu is a good size, with portion sizes being very good for the price. Their service is phenomenal, super friendly staff and quick to come around and make sure you're all set. They do private parties for big groups as well, but I would recommend making reservations for anything ahead of time because of how popular the venue is, especially with the city views. Overall, this is probably one of the better spots to eat or grab a drink near the lake side of the city.

We were seated quickly by friendly staff and were well attended to throughout our meal. The view of the lake was gorgeous and the ambience was romantic. Our cocktails were absolutely delicious as was the food. However, we got a total of 4 cocktails, a hummus platter, and 2 veggie appetizers, and our bill was over $200; tip was included, but it was still a pricey night. We would definitely go back, just be ready to spend some cash!

The menu is very limited. The orders did not arrive even close to the same time. The music over the speakers was too loud. The views are great, but if you are looking for great food and great service, then there are better choices elsewhere.

The location is truly breathtaking: perched atop a high-rise, surrounded by skyscrapers, and offering stunning views of Lake Union. It was a memorable experience from start to finish.
One of my all time favorite bars in Seattle! Such a fun place to spend a sunny afternoon. Their cocktails are always amazing, and the views are truly unmatched! I always plan to bring people here when they’re visiting from out of state - best glimpse into a Seattle summer!

My partner and I have booked a reservation here for the past three years for our anniversary and it’s always been so great. On top of the view, the food is very tasty (personal favorites being the frites mezze platter) and their fruity/sweet cocktails are exactly to our taste.
Check in is easy, the staff are friendly, and the seating area on the roof is beautiful with an intimate atmosphere. Even in the evening they do turn on heaters by request to make sure it doesn’t get too cold.
Note: that the ribeye steak was quite rare for medium rare (which fortunately we enjoyed anyway) but just something to keep in mind

Amazing for group events! i work in the area and was able to secure a table for 12 people to enjoy happy hour after training. if you have a business dinner, work training, or guests in town and want to impress people, m Bar is the place to do it! stunning views, large group tables, and immaculate vibes! highly recommend!
