Overall I'd rate this place 10/10, the service was outstanding and the ambiance was absolutely stunning. A gorgeous view of Seattle with a very beautifully decorated establishment. You won't regret spending money here. We did drinks and appetizers only; the beet salad and fries were DELICIOUS.
We loved our experience, but it is not for the faint of heart. 5 people, dined one of us only had an appetizer at a whopping $480 with the 20% service charge already included. That said, the food is excellent.
Wonderful ambiance and food. Unfortunately Sam C, our server, was completely innattentive, paid little attention to our table needs, did not try to be courteous or kind to our requests. We clearly felt like we were a burden. This restaurant charges an automatic 22% service charge which clearly endorses lack of attention to guests for some servers like Sam C. I hope his manager sees this review. Despite this server, I will go back to mbar because the food and ambiance are wonderful!...
