Just had the most baffling and incompetent food ordering experience of my life. It took 30 minutes, 6 employees, and one refund to get a 10 piece nugget combo.
I don’t really know what else I can do to get across how bewildering and frustrating this was other than just retelling it.
Me: Id like a chicken nugget meal please. Guy 1: you want the 5 dollar special? Me: no I want the chicken nugget meal. Guy taps the screen a bit. Guy 1: we don’t have that Me: you’re out of chicken nuggets? Guy 1 goes to get guy 2. Guy 2: Okya so do you want the mcchicken or the McDouble? Me: I want chicken nuggets. Guy 2: on their own? Me: no, the meal Guy 2 taps the screen a bit and then goes to get guys 3 and 4 and they all mess with the register for a bit before guy 2 takes the wheel again. Guy 1: ok so what do you want? Me: I want the 10 piece chicken nugget combo Guy 1: we only do 6 Me: no I want the normal combo, with a drink and fries Guy 1: oh so you want 10 as a side? Me: no I want the 10 piece meal Guy 1: largest you can get is 6 Me: ok fine I’ll have the 6 piece meal Guy 1 has to have someone else put the sauces in because he doesn’t know how to do it. I don’t remember which Guy that was.
Several minutes later Guy 1 comes back with a happy meal and tries to shove it into my hands. Me: I didn’t order a happy meal. Guy 1: the happy meal is the only six piece Me: well I didn’t want 6 to begin with. I asked for 10 Guy: but happy meals only come with 6
At this point I’m kind of wondering at this point if he’s just screwing with me. I still don’t know.
Guy 1 continues trying to shove a happy meal into my hands. Out of spite by this point, I refuse to take it.
Guy 1: you can either take it or get a refund
Me: okay I’ll get a refund
This brings out guy 5, who is a manager. He grants the refund and then snaps at me asking what I want. I ask him to just serve everyone behind me because a small line has formed and I’m getting dirty looks.
The manager disappears for the rest of the story, and after everyone gets served every staff member vanishes and doesn’t come back to take my order for another 10 minutes.
Brand new employee #6 finally comes out and I finally get to order with someone who listens to me.
But honestly, what is going on with this location??? Why did the manager just vanish before things were resolved? Why did he bark at me before even asking what the problem was, as if I’m unreasonable for trying to order chicken nuggets at mcfonalds? What the hell is happening here?

Quick tip, they are open 24hrs via a walk up window that you can order from online. This is super convenient for late night food as there aren’t many other options in this area.
Honestly this place is great. Inside dining room has a bunch of order kiosks, but is even better if you’re using the app. Service is quick and friendly, and it’s awesome knowing everyone working here is making at least $20/hr. Space is new so it’s super clean and modern looking.
The food is McDonalds, it’s not gonna win any awards but there’s a good chance you know exactly what you’re getting.
The app always has crazy deals so make sure you check it out if you wanna save some money on your order, this place has typical downtown fast food prices (expensive, especially if you’re from out of town)

they never fill your drinks/ice cream up all the way, they just don’t care in general here. multiple times they’ve taken 30-40 minutes to make small orders in the evening. don’t recommend especially when there’s 2 local businesses right next door
I’ve been at this McDonalds 15 times since it opened. I love it! It’s clean, nice and stuff is very friendly and helpful. I hope it stays this perfect forever
