Really wish I could've gotten the chance to eat here. Walked in with my partner and noticed a sign that said wait to be seated, there was one customer at the bar and I only saw one employee in the kitchen. We made eye contact and he ignored us. We waited for probably 6-7 minutes and nobody greeted us or sat us. This was at noon on a Tuesday. Very disappointed and it turned us off from coming here. We ended up leaving after nobody said came to us and went to eat elsewhere.

I have been a longtime customer at both locations. The food is constantly good, and have to say that your server Jesse at the Mecca is wonderful. Will keep coming back!

Good simple America style food. The diner is very eclectic filled with stickers and neon.
It is a little on the small side, so no big parties. And granted it was a Wednesday morning, service only had one person working.
We each (3) got something different, I enjoyed the biscuits and gravy with some fresh farm eggs.

Food was ok, typical fare. However, the service wasn't even 2nd rate, waitress was incompetent and negligent. It wasn't crowded so it was easy to spot when our food was done and waiting to be served. The waitress was engrossed in a valley girl conversation with a friend or coworker. She did not check on our food, she would have had to turn around away from her important conversation. My husband was irritated with the lack of professionalism and asked her if that was our food waiting to be delivered to the table. She did turn around and look to see the food. The kicker was the absolute disgust that she exhibited with my husband for interrupting her conversation. I was astonished. The last time someone showed me that behavior was from a 15 year old girl.

This company is sponsored by Google so predominantly that I've been redirected to their website on numerous occasions during my Christmas vacation in Seattle. This issue has now compounded to UBER where I've just been dropped off here when selecting the 5 points cafe. Entered by name and address. What an absolute disappointment.

Great place. Pancakes are fluffy and the custard French toast is amazing. Portions are big.

Mecca Cafe is exactly what a classic diner should be – fun atmosphere, great service, and solid comfort food that delivers. Ordered the crab cake benedict which was generous and flavorful, plus a side of 2 eggs and toast to round things out. And of course, it’s not a true diner experience without a pot of hot black coffee served in those thick, classic diner mugs that keep it warm. The staff was friendly and attentive, the kind of place where you feel like a regular even on your first visit. If you’re looking for no-frills breakfast done right in Seattle, this is the spot – been around since 1930 and you can tell they know what they’re doing.

Horrible service… Rude waitress… We walked out after waiting 15 minutes for a cup of coffee and a menu. And the place was empty!
