The drinks are usually pretty good, the menu is pretty large for a smaller place but it all is generally really good for the price, they have the best Taiwanese popcorn chicken I’ve ever had and the service is always great. (I also love their congee, it’s super hot and a big portion)

Decided to stop in here before a show at the Neptune and was pleasantly surprised by Mee Sum. The price for entrees was very competitive with the congee costing 10$ and the Noodles costing 14$. The boba tea was delicious and hit the spot. The location was fine if not a little bare but for the quality and price it is hard to beat.

We have been getting our Chinese/Hong Kong food from Mee Sum for years. On 11/7, they were totally off their game. We placed a pick up order via the website for pickup and received confirmation of the order. When family members arrived to pick up order, Mee Sum did not have order due to a printer error, which affected a number of parties. Family waited the 30 minutes while order was made but unfortunately did not check order in detail before bringing it home. There was one crab rangoon instead of 6 - while still tasty, not worth $14 for one. The wonton soup was bland and also had a bunch of overcooked noodles added, and in the past it has been quite good. The Broccoli Beef was also bland. Hoping Mee Sum can return to form.

The food was just okay, and the flavor and quality were a bit inconsistent—mostly on the bland side. I also expected their pineapple bun to have a filling, but it didn’t, so it felt a bit overpriced for what it was.

We ordered the ginger onion fish fillet and fish fillet black bean. The price is good because in able to make it two meals since i don’t eat american size! It taste really good and the place has a homey feel, and the staff are so friendly. The food is like home cooked it’s cozy. The place is clean and the free water taste so good. They also have milk and fruit teas, we ordered passion fruit and it taste good. I love the atmosphere is quiet and people talk quietly.

Absolutely terrible experience at Mee Sum Bakery. My son went in to buy 4 BBQ Pork Buns, 4 Egg Tarts, and 2 Sesame Balls. After he paid, they suddenly told him they were out of the Egg Tarts and Sesame Balls. When he asked for a refund for the items they didn’t have, they flat-out refused. Instead, they “offered” replacements but handed him just **one** BOLO Bun — ripping off a teenager without hesitation.

The food itself was below mediocre, but the dishonest and unprofessional way they handled this is far worse. In this economy, taking advantage of students and young people in the college community — who are already struggling to get by — is shameful.

If you’re thinking about coming here, beware: check your order carefully **before** paying, because they will not issue refunds even when it’s their mistake. Don’t expect quality food, fair treatment, or honesty.

They have classic Hong Kong style Baked Spaghetti -- ahhh!!! It's so hard to find outside of San Francisco. My daughter loves it. It's great for kids and adults... especially if they're stoned. It's baked with loads of cheese and spaghetti noodles. The meat is your choice, like a fried pork chop or Bolognese or wine braised beef. East meets west!! Generous portions, we had plenty of leftovers. Delicious!! Don't sleep on it 😆
