I've been here a number of occasions and the quality really depends on the dish. I think the quality has gone down over time, overall. Sometimes I'm happy with what I ordered and other times, I am a little disappointed. Lately it's been more disappointing than happy. It seems authentic and they do have baked pork buns available most of the time (though they taste different every time I get them). The pot stickers are not great. Bubble tea is pretty standard.

I think some of the prices are too high for what you get too.

There are too many large fish sharing the tank in the front, I feel bad for them.

Always a safe and solid choice, good hospitality too! Their buns are delicious in pike place or here!

Depicted: combo A and 西多士.
Combo A included popcorn chicken, fries, and potstickers. Popcorn chicken was pretty good & well seasoned but the other two weren't as good.
French toast (西多士) had some orange marmalade inside which added nice flavor.
乾炒牛河 had good portions but a little bland.

Nice place, killer matcha boba. The people who work here are very sweet.

I really liked this place. There was a good variety of options and the staff was really helpful in knowing what to order. I was really impressed by the portion size and price, their boba in particular was a couple dollars cheaper and bigger than the other places I have been to in the area. And even had Earl Grey which is my favorite and I have not been able to find it anywhere else. We also split a general Tso chicken and it was plenty for a light meal, and I liked that the breading was just right on the chicken which I feel isn’t always the case. I’ll definitely be back again

Tasted okay, big portion but some flavors were missing. The servers were super friendly though, a welcoming atmosphere. Suitable for students if you want good portion size for cheaper price!

I am a very regular customer of your UW location and have been going to your Pike Place market location for decades. It pains me to say that I've noticed a steep decline in the quality of your bubble tea drinks at your UW location. Since about a year ago, every drink I have ordered has come out very weak and watery in terms of black tea flavor and somewhat dusty from the creamer. The signature black tea flavor is vastly missing from the new drinks. I used to consider Mee Sum as among the best bubble tea spots in the pacific northwest, but this quality issue has negatively impacted my reviews and opinions of your product. Other drinks like the Hong Kong lemon tea are increasingly bitter, likely as the tea flavor is not as strong anymore. I understand that your business needs to cut costs in some areas to stay afloat, but I along with many of my friends and family who have enjoyed Mee Sum Bubble tea in the past would gladly pay more to keep the same high quality of drinks. Please take my feedback into consideration as I would love to recommend Mee Sum as a must visit Seattle spot again.

Tea was ok but there are better places in the area. Cost $60 for two entrees and two drinks. Big portion but no flavor

I usually love eating at meesum on the ave but I ordered the siu mai to try and I guess it was still raw because the inside was still pink and it gave me food poisoning.

Someone was eating beef chow fun in the office at work today, and the smell alone made me crave some. Mee Sum was the closest place to me that offered the dish, and it was my first time going.

Upon entry, it was dark and uninviting. Nothing like the bright Cantonese restaurants I’m used to from Asia.

The 炒粉itself was MICROWAVED. Maybe it was on me to have ordered takeout on a restaurant of unknown quantity, but it was clear that the fun was nuked and not stir fried in a wok.

Extremely disappointed.

Food is good and big portion , the price are insanely cheap for students. However, not recommended for big group because they may forgot your order sometimes due to high demand. The place seems kind of dark and small, bring up a Chinese vibe. I would recommend rice plates for more value because I got the noodle one and it turned out tasting bad compare to the other time I got rice.

Fantastic Taiwanese food like the popcorn chicken meal. The soup of the day is always authentic East Asian cooking!
