I’ve only tried their pastries so far, and they are absolutely amazing! I got the steamed chicken and pork buns, Crab Rangoon, and a red bean sesame roll. They were all soooo delicious, you could tell it was all authentic. I’ll definitely be returning! The only thing I was disappointed about was that I couldn’t try the curry beef bun because it was sold out. You can bet I’ll be trying it soon though. 10/10 would recommend to friends and family!

Delicious, affordable place. I always make sure I stop by when I am in the area for a pastry. Their bolo bao (pineapple bun) is fresh and generous in size. Also try their jiandui (sesame ball); fluffy, chewy and good texture. I have also gotten dinner here. I’ve had their beef-and-broccoli, and egg-and-shrimp-chow-fun. Food comes out fast and good portions. They also have books and board games if you want to come hang out with friends and get boba.

I actually liked their food and used to enjoy getting dinner here from time to time after class. In the last few months, however, I noticed the owner has become very rude and exhibit horrible attitude towards anyone with signs of Chinese heritage. He would come around and make you move to a different table in the name of making space for other customers for no particular reason even when the store is basically empty. He would also not serve you the complimentary appetizer/soup despite it being given to every other customer in the restaurant (and yes we did tip when we bought our food).I rarely have the interest to leave reviews on yelp (especially negative ones), but as much as I used to like their food, I refuse to support this kind of discriminatory behavior. And you should too.

Been there twice now. The food (rice/noodles/pastries) is all amazing. The owners are very nice. Feels like visiting aunt and uncle ‘s house everytime for a nice cozy meal.

Only reviewing the drinks.Ordered a jasmine milk tea with half/less sugar.>drink was not too sweet>boba was chewy and had a decent texture, did not stick in clumps>Not too much ice>the drink was more warm than I expectedoverall, an alright place to order a drink. Do not know if they offer much in alternative ingredients.

So this place has a really bad old house smell, you should def not eat-in because you might catch something moldy in the air. The bathroom was not that clean too.The owner/server has really cold & unfriendly demeanor, so don't expect warm smile & friendly interactions. The food was mid & small portion for a very non-student-friendly price tag. ( For that price, I didn't expect having to bus my own table, but oh well)

Yum!! Chicken Chow Fun, Tofu Eggplant w/ Thai Basil, Curry Beef Hombow, Sweet & Sour soup, Did 8:30PM takeout on Friday and everything was excellent. Couldn't stop eating, even after I was full! Can't wait for leftovers tonight. Friendly gentleman at the counter (possibly the owner?). Will be back for the same and to try other menu items. (Back to get Mee Sum Yum! :-) )

Been a big fan of the Pike Place location for a long time, and just now made it to the U district location. Excellent buns, and I'll have to try the rest of the menu next time!

Super good pork chop and popcorn chicken. The pastries are also very good! The worst finding parking around the area and not that hygienic

Nicely priced Taiwanese/Cantonese food. Love their vegetarian egg rolls and chow fun.
