I don't usually write negative reviews. I actually believe it's more important to shine light on the great experiences we have. But Meesha's has been important to my partner and me. We spend our anniversaries there every year. This year, we had to push it out, so we ate the Valentine's Day prix fixe. We were super excited! ........Needless to say, it was pretty bad, and that's probably being generous. The quantity and quality of the food were pretty awful, considering the price, but especially for the $225 we spent before the tip. The corn salsa (3 bites) was overly spicy, and we had to ask for more than one chip to dip it in. The Malai prawn curry with coconut rice came out at room temperature. The 3 small prawns swimming in the curry were overcooked and not of restaurant quality. They brought us 1 cup of clumpy rice to be shared between us. We ate a few bites of the dishes and left most of the lukewarm curry left uneaten. I got the Zataar gobhi with preserved lemon raita- the cauliflower wasn't hot, and the 2-3 bites they gave me was sitting in a thick lemon raita that lacked flavor. When I told the waiter it wasn't hot and asked if it was supposed to be- he said it was not. So not true. My partner had the Pahadi tandoori chicken. The 1/4 of a chicken thigh they gave was lackluster. The Ghee roast mutton, pink pepper corn kulcha, makhani dal was literally inedible- the sauce was sour and overly seasoned. Again, it was about 3 bites of lamb that had to be fished out of the bowl of mostly sauce. The Mughlai kofta, pink pepper corn kulcha, makhani dal had something so hard on the bottom of the dish that I was glad I hadn't used my front teeth to bite down on it. The rice pudding dessert wasn't great, and we didn't eat it. We left the restaurant utterly disappointed and were glad we didn't eat the meal on our actual anniversary day. We also went to U Village for dessert to recover from the bad experience we had at Meesha's. I'm writing with the hope that Meesha's
What a fun night. Thank you for having us. We visited for a special 5-course Valentines dinner with a fixed menu. Can't wait to visit again. The beet dish opener was awesome — and I HATE beets! The prawn curry was yummy. Looking forward to a full menu of choices!
The food was good but the required 5 course menu on Valentine's Day was outrageously overpriced.
Amongst the best Indian food and service I have had in Seattle area for twenty years. Owned by same people as cricket club, but I found Meesha to be way better. Very reasonably priced for the value. I am just surprised how it never showed up on my Yelp or Google searches earlier though this place has been around for the last 6-7 years. Writing this review in 2026. We went there for our 20th anniversary dinner, which was a bit of a risk - going to an unknown place, but the experience couldn't have been better.
Can’t say enough good things about this place. The food was incredible. The service was lovely. And the prices were incredible reasonable. New fav for date night in Fremont

They may be open in the evenings, but their menu is limited and they don’t offer lunch or dinner options at certain times…so definitely call ahead. The food doesn’t feel very authentic and a bit pricey. It tastes okay, but I’ve definitely had better.

My husband and I had our Thanksgiving dinner at your restaurant. The food was great overall.
However, I have a very important factual correction regarding one of your dessert offerings. The delicious 'Chhena Poda' you serve is currently labeled as a 'traditional Bengali baked dish.' Please note that this is incorrect. Chhena Poda is a celebrated traditional, iconic baked dessert that originates from the state of Odisha, India.
As a high-end establishment, maintaining accuracy, especially when labeling traditional dishes, is crucial. Mislabeling a dish's origin can be viewed as cultural/regional appropriation. I urge you to research and correct the description on your menu immediately.
I would be happy to email you further details on its history and significance.

We went for dinner on a Friday night. The restaurant is relatively small, but had a nice ambience. We ordered the Kale pakoras, chicken biriyani, mutton ghee roast and gulab Jamun. The kale pakoras were good. Chicken biriyani was way too salty and only had one piece of chicken (drumstick). The mutton ghee roast was too sweet (I happen to be from southern India where ghee roast is part of our native cuisine). The gulab jamun was just ok, not great. The staff were very friendly, and service was good.

I took a new romantic interest here for a date. It was great. They have great vegetarian choices: as many as their meat dishes. Atmosphere is modern. Service is friendly and attentive..
I just had another wonderful experience at Meesha. Their elevated and creative food is flavorful and filling with options for everyone, including vegans, vegetarians, or meat-eaters. I particularly liked the Burrata appetizer and the Paneer do pyaza, though you can't really go wrong with anything. (My dining partner loved the Butter Chicken.) My craft cocktail (Mughal Empress) was fancy, delicious and came in a vintage-style coupe glass. The atmosphere is great for a special occasion or a regular weeknight dinner. I just love this place. It's cozy and perfect for two, but could likely handle a larger group fairly easily if you reserve ahead. One thing: It is served mostly family style, so be prepared to pass plates. Pro tip: If they ask if you'd like rice with your dish, say yes. You'll need it for the dal.
Sanjana was a great server

Food was really excellent - especially the ground lamb starter with brioche and the kale pakoras, all the main dishes we had were superb. The sinless guava mojito is beyond delicious. Our server, Sanjana, was delightful - attentive, friendly, funny and really sweet. It was a very busy night but we felt very well-taken care of. It does get pretty loud in there - there were two women sitting next to us and they were basically screaming at each other instead of talking, which made it hard to hear ourselves, but that certainly wasn't the restaurant's fault. We would highly recommend Meesha - we will be back soon.
The appetizers were amazing but the special Diwali thali was a major let down. Ambience and service both were great. Parking is a hassle in this area. We will be back again but not for any special thalis..
