We went here to celebrate a birthday and unfortunately the experience fell short. The service was not attentive at all. No one checked in to see how the food was, and our water was never refilled unless we specifically asked.
The food itself is quite overpriced for what you get. We were celebrating a birthday and even brought a cake, yet there was zero effort, no acknowledgment, no surprise for the celebrant., expecting at the very least that it would be unboxed or presented when it was brought out. There was no effort to acknowledge or surprise the birthday celebrant, which was disappointing for a special occasion.
The waiter seemed unsure how to prioritize tables and rarely asked if we needed anything. Overall, the lack of attentiveness and basic service made the experience underwhelming. With better service and more attention to guests, this place could improve significantly.

Absolutely worth the trip! We heard about Meet Korean BBQ from friends and family who had already been and raved about it - and it did not disappoint. We’ve been to high-end KBBQ spots in Vegas and other cities, and this is right up there with the best of them.
The meats were top-notch - excellent quality and flavor. Huge shout-out to Andre, who cooked everything to perfection exactly the way we liked it. He was friendly and made great conversation, which really added to the experience. Ivy also did an amazing job making our drinks.
Outstanding food, great service, and an all-around fantastic experience. We’ll definitely be back and recommending it to others.

Brennan was fantastic, he welcomed us with open arms. It was the best KBBQ experience I’ve ever had. Food was fantastic, the experience was better.

Nothing to brag about
À la carte Korean BbQ. Generous portions —it’s not cheap—and authentic side dishes.

Food is okay but overpriced. Service is okay but they come with mandatory 20% tip and tax on tips (a big red flag for me). Bathrooms are kinda dirty ( another big red flag) — i don’t understand why their handle in the restroom blocks you to lift the toilet which enforces people to use without lifting.

This is a GLOWING review. We live in Federal Way, which is basically the capital of Korean BBQ, so we know what good and bad Korean BBQ is. Meet Korean BBQ absolutely blew us away! It was like going to the Korean version of John Howie Steak or Metropolitan Grill - it basically rivals your best steak houses in Seattle but served the Korean way. The quality of the beef was unreal, the marbling was gorgeous and the wagyu melted in our mouths.
What really elevated the experience was having a dedicated server/cook at your table's grill. Andre took amazing care of us, cooking everything perfectly while sharing helpful tips and fun conversation. His service made the meal feel both elevated and personal.
If you love Korean BBQ and great steak, this place is on another level. We’ll definitely be back!

We went for dinner on a Wednesday, and should have made reservations because we waited 1.5 hours (with a reservation we placed on the spot). The meat was fantastic (tried galbi and short rib) and you get unlimited lettuce and banchan. We also ordered the kimchi fried rice (very good but white rice wouldve been great too, because the meat was flavorful enough.)
We decided to order the meat separately from the feast menu, because that was more portions for the meat for the same price. The server did a great job cooking the meat. Would definitely come again (with a reservation first)!
Also, where we sat near the front of the restaurant was colder so keep that in mind too.

MEET absolutely crushed it! From the moment we walked in, it smelled amazing! We're talking sizzling meat, beautiful marbling on every cut, and the whole place buzzing with good energy. Korean BBQ elevated.
The food was unreal. Every bite was bursting with flavor as one would expect; tender meats, crispy edges, perfectly seasoned everything. Even the banchan was addictive. We kept saying “just one more bite” and… yeah, there were no leftovers.
Big thanks to Andre, our server, who made the whole night even better. He was fun, friendly, and totally knew his stuff. His recommendations were spot-on and made us feel like VIPs for the night.
We left full, happy, and already dreaming about our next visit. If you haven’t been yet, go! Like, yesterday. You’ll thank yourself later. Meet me at the KBBQ!

I have been to this restaurant a few times. It used to be such a good place to enjoy Korean BBQ, with good service and quality meat.
My recent experience is that THEIR SERVICE QUALITY HAS DEGRADED given a mandatory 20% service charge. The server burned our food TWICE!
We ordered a dry aged ribeye and asked for it to be cooked as medium. The server acknowledged but had to leave our table a few times, while the steak was being cooked (which I totally understand given how many tables they have to attend to at the same time).
However, when we got the steak, it was very dry and clearly overcooked. We brought it up with the server and he started to explain why IT WAS NOT OVERCOOKED without even understanding our reasons. He did apologized eventually and promised he would take more care of the rest of our dishes.
And he burned our marinated short ribs…and yet again tried to explain why IT WAS NOT BURNT. He did agree to replace the dish but gave us a subpar replacement. And he managed to burn the fat into flame and heavy smoke, which shows clearly lack of experience and a bit disrespectful.
Yet we have to pay 80 dollars for this kind of service. Totally disappointed.

The food is good but $160 per person price is kinda insane. Not worth it in general.

The food was amazing and perfect. The meat was melt in your mouth and tender. This has to be the best food i’ve had in my life. Shout out to Andre and Larry for the amazing customer service. I cant thank them enough for this special day. I will remember this for the rest of my life. Even the energy of the restaurant was top notch. Thank you to Zummie for being the best ever. I will think about this day and the flavors in my dreams. Thank you to Meet Korean BBQ and all their staff.
