So many options, very tasty. Marked clearly.
Multiple vegan options, tasty ramen.
Menya Musashi Tsukemen & Ramen is easily in my top 3 ramen places in Seattle city limits. I read through the previous reviews and decided to stick to my gut (despite the great menu options) and order what I had come for….Vegan Spicy Curry Ramen and it was mind blowing. The flavors were bold, the spice level was enjoyable, the portions were enough to feel very full afterwards. We also enjoyed the sparkling Sake and edamame. The vibe is casual despite the photos that look fancy, which I appreciate. It’s in a great location which is easy to walk to. I can’t wait to come back for more.

they have the best pork belly, but unfortunately out of the four times I've visited, I've been served pot stickers that were still cold in the center twice, and consistently my soft boiled eggs are quite cold, which really messes with the hot ramen experience (are they batch cooked at the beginning of the day or something? I'm a little confused because I haven't experienced this at other ramen places) I think this is clearly some kind of kitchen procedural issue. Staff are always nice and businesslike, and their attitude is appropriate to the warehouse-esk vibes of the space. I really wanted to like this location, but with my visits being spaced out over two years and on different days and times, I'm tired of cold eggs.
Wheelchair accessibility: narrow space, all loose chairs and small tables, wheelchair navigation likely to be tricky.

Loved loved loved their Tsukemen.
It has been a while since I had tsukemen and I randomly walked by this place late afternoon.
Per their recommendation, I ordered it cold and it was just perfect. The broth was so flavorful. It was thick soup and perfect for the thick noodles.
Highly recommend the pork belly as well, I think I could have gone without the chicken.

If I could give this restaurant zero stars, I would. My husband and I visited what we thought was a reputable ramen spot, but our experience quickly turned into a nightmare. Just as I was finishing my bowl of soup, I discovered a fly floating in it. Yes, a fly. To make matters worse, the staff’s response was nothing short of appalling.
We immediately told the waitress, who simply said, “Sorry,” without any attempt to rectify the situation. No offer of a new bowl, no apology beyond a weak and insincere “sorry.” When we spoke to another employee, he also offered nothing more than a half-hearted apology, completely ignoring the fact that we had just found a foreign object in our food. At no point did anyone even suggest offering a discount or a replacement dish — nothing. The staff weren’t so friendly to begin with anyway.
To add insult to injury, the restaurant didn’t even seem concerned that I had nearly finished the soup before finding the fly, meaning I had consumed a significant portion of it before realizing something was wrong. It’s clear that the hygiene standards here are questionable at best. I’ve had better customer service at fast food chains, and certainly never expected to find a fly in my meal at a place that’s supposedly known for its food quality.
I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. If you value your health, your time, and your money, take your business elsewhere. This was an utterly disgusting experience with shockingly bad service to match.

Although not as exceptional as Japan, it is still of decent quality.

menya musashi is a small tsukemen & ramen shop in capitol hill. it’s a small place that you wouldn’t really notice normally, except for a sign outside that says “menya musashi” with a big arrow on it pointing to the front door.
the inside of the place is fine. it’s basically all black inside but it’s lit up very well so you don’t feel like you are in a hole lol. there’s some light decorations referencing samurai — “musashi” is a reference to miyamoto musashi, a kensei (“sword saint”) in japan.
the service is usually just fine, as well. i’ve noticed that the waiters kinda just hide a lot even when it’s busy. nobody’s ever been mean though so i don’t mind it too much. i tend to be a slow eater so i’d rather them not check on me too many times anyway.
finally, onto the food. i actually love the tsukemen and i crave it constantly but i gotta hold myself back. i love getting the hybrid tsukemen with the cold noodles and an aji-tama (soft-boiled egg). most of the time i end up with extra broth which pretty salty on its own but you can ask your server for some “wari.” wari is a more plain broth that dilutes the saltiness so it allows you to basically just drink your extra broth at the end.
the portions are large and everything is priced pretty fairly. i love coming here and i always try to bring my friends. i recommend this spot for sure!

This place is fire. It gets super busy here so grab your food, eat it, and go. The curry tsukemen was amazing. It's loud inside and it's bustling which honestly made the food taste better.

All 5 stars. It is like stepping into a time capsule, with all the samurai art and warm wood tones. The Ramen’s top notch too. This is my Friday dinner

Tasty tasty tasty.
Vegan and vegetarian options. Very thorough and thoughtful with providing info about ingredients.
Quick service most of the time but it can get SLAMMED at dinner.
Vegetarian options: I regularly get the Vegan Curry Ramen, it's one of the best of any ramen I've had.
Dietary restrictions: Very clear about what uses shellfish/fish/allergens
