Amazing sandwiches and SUCH good Vietnamese credit coffee! Plus great prices on groceries. Highly recommend this place ☺️

Pleasing service. Good coffee. Free wifi. Few seats to sit and eat/drink. Serves sandwiches as well.Doesn’t sell milk!

A very convenient store located on the SE corner of Madison and 8th Ave in the First Hill neighborhood. Upon entering the store I'm always greeted hello with big smiles and when needed, very helpful employees. They stock many items that I run out of and saved me countless trips to an inconvenient store. They've got a little bit of everything in this compact store. There's fresh coffee and pastries. Fresh vegies and fruit. Good selection of wine and beer, chips, hot/cold cereal, milk, almond milk, eggs, bread, cheese, cream cheese, butter, olive oil, pasta, shampoo, hand and dish soap, laundry detergent, dog/cat food, toiletries, plastics and paper. Bottled and canned beverages, ice and ice cream! They serve hot breakfast/lunch buffet style, M-F. There is a small seating area with tables/chairs and the very high ceiling and surrounding windows make it feel way more open.

I had their Galbi Burger for lunch and it was pretty delicious! Perfect spot for tasty sandwiches and the kitchen staff are very nice.

I’ve had three sandwiches from here: Galbi Burger, Chipotle Chicken, and Turkey & Ham. All three were really delicious! They are very generous with the amount of meat they include. The staff was very nice as well

Wish I could give negative stars. Their pricing is predatory. Whatever you think something costs, it costs 3 times as much. A small lemon is $1.50. the ramen soups (that are $1-$2 everywhere else) are $4-7!!). On top of that when you pay there's **no option to NOT tip***! WTF!! If you don't want to top this sleezeball place, you need to select custom tip and enter 0! These ppl won't even give you a bag after ripping you off.

The bacon egg and cheese croissant sandwich speaks for itself. We live in the neighborhood and by wine and sometimes small groceries from this place. We get breakfast sandwiches pretty regularly and the quality has just been steadily coasting off a cliff. I opened my sandwich today and there are no words, so I added the picture.

Nice corner store with an excellent beer selection. Not much in the way of groceries but a good way to nab essentials between full store trips. Haven't tried the food menu.

Ordered a Washington Wrecker and all I can say is they must call the Wrecker because it will wreck your schedule. The sandwich took wayyyyy too long to make and I was the only person in the shop.Did appreciate the amount of meat.

Great breakfast burritos. Simple, exactly what I want for a walking burrito.

Arrived mid-morning and the "hot foods" were limited to a few breakfast options. There was a second steam table that may offer lunch, but not sure if they're doing much at this point (due to Covid). The sandwich counter was being prepped so you could order a sandwich made to order with a pretty good selection of "stuff" to put on them. The wine and beer selection was very limited. The grocery shelves were pretty much empty -- very, very few options for necessities, a bit more for snacks. Not a place I'd come back to because I couldn't be sure they'd have the basic necessities needed. Not sure how they stay in business at this point.

I’m not sure what folks on First Hill expect of their grocers to warrant some of the bad reviews. Sure, the store is a little on the pricey side but the convenience makes up for any downfalls in that way. Great beer and wine selection and also have some smaller options you don’t find in little bodegas elsewhere.I’m a heavily tattooed human and everyone on the staff has always been pleasant with me. As far as following covid precautions I always see the staff following the rules.

In terms of convenience stores, this is everything you need. Whether it's lunch or a few groceries it's in a good location with helpful staff. The sandwiches are good and the wine selection is great! They have good Boar's head products, too.

They are very rude, short and blatant disrespectful when you are the one spending money at their business. They only put the BLM sign up during protests so that their business wouldnt get vandalized. They are extremely over priced. In all honesty the Coffee Tree on the same black or the two corner stores 2 blocks down are 10x BETTER food, selection and customer service. The people who work the afternoon at this place are WONDERFUL. It is the disgusting morning crew and having to deal with them. They have half of the Polyclinic not even wanting to go there for even a water. People would rather go walk instead of giving a racist family their money. And i dont blame them. Ive tried giving the benefit of the doubt but i couldnt even tell you how many times ive been rudely treated coming here. They will take BLACK PEOPLES MONEY BUT DISRESPECT THEM AT THE SAME TIME. Please if you of color and/or support BLM DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS.
