Don’t sleep on this humble walk-up counter! Everything here is delicious, the staff has a great vibe, and the quality is consistent. So happy to have this personal staple in my neighborhood!

If I could give more stars I would. The food and the atmosphere of this restaurant is amazing. We visited on the Friday before Easter and this place was busy. Advice to other restaurants in Renton, it’s time to raise your bar because Mexicuban has figured out the right balance of up beat fancy restaurant, family friendly environment, amazing happy hour specials and excellent top notch service. Cindy our server was incredible. The live DJ kept everything moving and the food was out of this world flavorful. Mexicuban pops sparkle and projects electric! Hands down the best restaurant in Renton. Give them a try!
Was really excited and decided to splurge but the food is bland and over priced -they legit served me black burned plantains that I tried to eat but just tasted like bitter charcoal - the papas rellenas were so bland and hardly any picadillo ( beef filling) like I love mashed potatoes but there was just no flavor ! The pork in the Cuban bowl is good but the congrí was awful so bland & tge texture was off - tasted like instant rice ? So sad I really wanted to like this food if not love it but it’s a strong NO -

Only giving 3 stars because the food is still good. This is the third time in a row my order has been messed up and honestly I’m over it. I’ve ordered in person and online nothing is ever how I ordered. I’m disappointed because I want the food as advertised. I’ve had it it’s GREAT but feel like I’m waisting money because I never get it anymore. This was for the location in white center off Roxbury.
