What a gem! We celebrated my husband's birthday here and can't say enough good things. Everything we ate was delightful and the service so kind and attentive. We will definitely be back.

Mezzanote is such a gem. We came for a birthday dinner last night, and the chef was more than happy to make an off menu vegan pasta dish for one of our friends. Drinks are creative and delicious, their pistachio Caesar salad is one of my favorite things to eat ever. Their service feels high end while their prices are incredibly reasonable for the quality of food.

You HAVE to try their focaccia! We went back just to take some to go. It is vegan, so moist, and flavorful. Also, their dry aged steak was to die for. Well crafted drinks and delicious food. Everything we got was sublime. I could not recommend this place more.

Had a really nice meal at Mezzanotte by trying the chef's tasting menu and enjoying a shared bottle of wine. We sat at the small bar and it was enjoyable watching the kitchen staff do their thing while we ate and chatted with the staff. I'm not usually one to take pictures of my food and post them, but in this case I did. My fave was the salmon tartare, but all the dishes were excellent and the coffee finale with the tiramisu was a great way to finish the night.

We tried Mezzanotte after Art Attack. The ambience is nice (make sure you sit in the main dining room where the bar is, not in the entry space where in the winter cold outside air enters when the door opens). They have a relatively small menu (focused, which I generally like), and the staff knows how to pronounce Italian dishes in Italian. We ordered two pasta dishes (primi). At $28 a dish, we assumed that should be enough for a meal. But it turned out portions are small, and we should have ordered a secondo (around $45). The risotto and pasta dish tasted good, I would say 7.5 out of 10, simply not enough for a meal, and we wish we had been told when ordering. A glass of red wine starts at $18, and the $14 Tiramisu had dry and crunchy instead of soaked ladyfingers. The final bill included a 2% „health and wellness“ charge (seriously, how about a 5% shelter charge?). While small, I prefer being told upfront what the final price is. Overall, verdict: nice ambience, decent food, but overpriced with hidden charges.

Beautiful, small, rustic ambiance. There is outdoor seating, it looked nice. We sat inside near the bar. Our party was small, just two of us. I had their enchantress drink. It was very subtle and light. We started off with the ceasar and Burrata. The ceasar salad was lack luster, nothing great, probably wouldn't order again. However, the burrata was devine. I loved the addition of huckleberries. So delicious. We then got one of their specials and another dish on the menu. The Lumache and the Reginette. Both were good. I absolutely loved the Lumache, it was made with i believe veal. Had just the right amount of spice to it. So delicious. The Reginette was fine, I wouldn't go out of my way for it. Not a show stopper. We then shared the Pere & cream dessert. WOW! Now that was delicious. Very light, not overly sweet. The pears had a nice spice to them. It was delicious. I will definitely be back to try more of their dishes. This might just be a little hidden gem im Georgetown.

I love this neighborhood gem. The food is consistently excellent and inventive. Loved the green goddess Caesar this time. Steak was a bit over cooked and the “garden” patio is still chilly and the seats cold and hard, but service is impeccable. For a neighborhood spot in a world class city, it’s 💯worth it!

We celebrated Denise’s sixtieth birthday tonight. Rochelle was our wait person, friendly, really knowledgeable of the ingredients and just enough attentive. All 4 pasta dishes were delicious. The Special pillow like pasta stuffed with squash in sage butter was the bomb! The Bolognese was the best I’ve ever had, the tamarin was rich and simple at the same time. The pasta with shrimp is pretty spicy but a hit at the table. The steak was cooked to perfection! The bathrooms are a fun treat, you’ll need to visit to experience them. One of my favorite meals/evenings! Will definitely be back…

My wife and I chose to celebrate our 11th anniversary at Mezzanotte. I work in Georgetown and have driven past it so many times without knowing just how good it was. We decided to do the Nonnakase experience and it was such a hit for us.
The atmosphere itself is cozy, but loud. Just like an italian place should be. We honestly did not know what to expect from the food and were blown away! The gnocchi with WA state mushroom medley was probably the biggest hit for us, which is wild... because the steak that came out later was melt in your mouth good. We really enjoyed our entire experience. It was pricy, but for the first time in a few years we went out to a restaurant, paid a bunch of money and were pleased with the end result.

I ordered the Chicory Caesar Salad, Bistecca, and The Enchantress. We also ordered the flourless chocolate cake and the pesche e panna ( both were amazing)
It was my first time at this place. My first impression was that it’s small and a bit dark. I wish there was more ambient light on the tables. The bathrooms were interesting and definitely something you need to experience for yourself. I did love all the textures in the decor.

The salad was the best Caesar I’ve ever had. It wasn’t drenched in dressing or overpowered by anchovies, just a really nice balance. The Bistecca was amazing. The figs were a nice touch and everything about the dish was on point. The Enchantress wasn’t bad either, good for sipping. I ordered it because I was curious about the cardamom bitters.

Overall, it’s a wonderful place with great service and delicious food. I’d definitely recommend it.

Best pork chops ever. The only thing I don't like is that they put an extra fee for health insurance for employees. To the owner, that is strictly your job, that's tacky and I'll mannered to put on public. You should be ashamed and embarrassed!!! Class up and take care of your workers!!!!!!
