My family and I came here and had a picnic and we had a blast! Very beautiful park!! It has everything! Water, sand, beautiful view of mountains, tons of boats out sailing, a large playground with slides and swings, a trail around the park, lots of open space for dogs, huge sandy area to set up volleyball nets, a basketball hoop, a few picnic tables, trees to set up hammocks, tons of grassy areas, bathrooms, a decent amount of parking, and a cute little ice cream & food spot...
This is a lovely beach where you can grill food, have picnics, and celebrate with friends and family. It is very beautiful and fun, but the parking can be extremely difficult on busy weekends. It is not easy to get there by public transportation either. You may have to walk 20+ minutes from the bus stop.
Beautiful view of the Olympics, cruise ships & fishing boats passing by, and sea lions & seals frolicking right off shore. Very nice vibe on a sunny Saturday afternoon: family parties, volleyball, people swimming....a nice chill & safe atmosphere.
