Mochinut South Lake Union

I recently got the chance to visit Mochinut South Lake Union. I was greeted right away, I was wondering what to get and she recommended that I try the Ube doughnut. I was pleasantly surprised by how tasty it was! I had an overall good experience but it looked like the location was understaffed, as there were many orders and I had to wait a little while to get my doughnut.

Absolutely love Mochinuts! Donuts with creative seasonal flavors and great texture. Their drinks are amazing. Highly recommend their Ube latte.

3 workers here. No line. Sitting down and talking to each other. Ordered 4 donuts and asked for a bigger box. They ignored me and stuffed the 4th donut in a paper bag- ripped it and just shoved it in. Box was sticky also. No customer service what so ever. It has changed a lot here since they opened.

I love this boba shop. I bring my girls here everytime we come to Seattle, good ingredients and the drink selection is so good! Especially the creme brulee drinks.

I try to stay away from this place otherwise I’d end up with a box of mochinut donuts and eat them all in one seating! They are so good! The have rotating flavors so always something new to try! Not to mention their famous rice dogs and bubble tea!

Not a bad little place, slow service. Orders 3 donuts and drink. Took them 10 minutes with just me and another customer there. Ordered a black tea affogato and the girl gets the tea from the cooler and has to smell it and didn’t make the best of faces. This was right in front of me. Not very professional. Donuts are okay. I am here on a business trip and I am not very impressed. You should greet your customer and be somewhat enthused about it. I will try another place tomorrow. 7.00 drink, 11.00 bucks for 3 donuts….toi can at least give good customer service and make sure the tea is not rotten. Thanks!!!

We went here and only ordered donuts, so I can’t speak to the Boba tea for the corn dogs. The donuts were amazing! We ordered the mango, chocolate and Matcha and they are great. They almost have a chewy consistency which we really liked and the flavors were savory. The place was nice and clean and had a Korean vibe. The staff was pretty friendly and helpful. We will totally go back for more donuts.

I love this location. Street parking could be difficult but it hasn’t been a problem any of the times we’ve been here.

There are lots of places to sit and I’ve never had to deal with a line here.

We didn’t interact much with staff as there was a large ordering kiosk. We placed our order, paid and left with a ticket. I received a text when it was ready.

Loooove the donuts every time.

The drinks didn’t quit hit the mark this visit but the mochi dog made up for it.
This was my first mochi dog experience and it was amazing. Had the half and half, so half cheese and half dog. The cheese was melty and chewy and paired so well with the also chewy mochi coating. I asked for siracha mayo and it was perfect.

The drinks are good. Though the system they have is misleading, since the “premium boba drinks” actually do not come with boba. We asked the staff about that and they said “sorry we don’t make the words of the system”, which was rude and not helpful. So we ended up wondering whether we were scammed.
We are not coming back.
