Monorail might be riding on its reputation and spread too thin across the city. Espresso shot tasted burnt in the both lattes I got.

I stumbled upon this café by chance while walking around (end of June 2025) and ordered their coconut cold brew out of curiosity—even though I’m not a fan of coconut. To my surprise, it was incredibly well-balanced and absolutely delicious! The staff had that signature American friendliness and cheerfulness, making the whole experience even better. A perfect way to start the day during my trip—truly a hidden gem in Seattle!

I specifically go out of my way to stop here whenever I’m in Seattle. The baristas bring warmth and enthusiasm to their craft, and it shines through in the quality of their coffee.

For travellers wanting better tasting strong coffee than the normal Starbucks then this is a great choice. Cute and part of a long history by the looks of things. Great service offering a shot of sparkling water side with an espresso. Open early for those walking the streets at 7am on a Saturday trying to find somewhere for coffee. A tiny front out the side with a few tables could make for a spot of people watching but not much to see.

Small, cute coffee window I walked right by when I was trying to find it. I was in from NYC and was trying to get a great latte at 615 am on my way to the office. walked to another spot that was closed and found monorail on a google search.

I ordered a triple oat milk latte, 12 oz. It was fast, milk was steamed well, and strong, as I like it. Had a homeless guy ask me for money but left immediately when I told him I had no cash (truth). I’m used to that in NYC so it didn’t bother me.

The whole transaction was less than 5 min, cost me $10 or so bucks with a tip. I can’t believe everywhere else is just as expensive as NYC.

Would come again! Thanks for being open early.

Absolutely loved the latte here! Creamy, well-balanced, and just the right amount of bold. A perfect pick-me-up in the middle of the city.

Coffee was average, but the front desk lady seemed to be role-playing ,as if I was her boss who hadn’t paid her in a year.
