The guy who complimented my neck tattoo and helped recommend my friend a drink (she did really like it!) was absolutely the greatest interaction to start our day. You are such a angel!

Stopped by during my visit to Seattle & I still dream about the pumpkin cream cold brew. Might’ve been the best I’ve had in a while.
Friendly & fast service as well ◡̈

Be careful to buy coffee here. The baristas have a weird and rude attitude to ask customers to stay away from their windows after ordering. It’s unfortunate that they don’t know how to politely talk to their customers. I’ve bought coffee here a few times. Will not come again.

Pumpkin spice cream foam cold brew: taste similar to Starbuck’s but the foam is runnier (I like thicker fluffy foams)

Needed some real espresso, and this was it! If you’re a coffee enthusiast, this will scratch the itch! Cortado was perfect.

I was surprised by the long line this Sunday morning, but even so, the wait was short and we ordered the special of the day — macadamia coconut cold brew with cold foam — and a single espresso. Service was super quick, my coffee was delicious, and I honestly wished they had a larger cup size haha. That said, I do have to admit the espresso was a bit burnt (and both drinks were on the pricey side).
Still, with the outdoor seating available, we really enjoyed our coffees in a pleasant atmosphere. We’d definitely come back!

Monorail Espresso is a true gem! Coffee consistently tastes great and the prices are reasonable. They nailed all our customizations-something that is more rare than you'd think. The staff were super friendly and engaging, making the whole experience even better. Highly recommend for anyone who loves excellent coffee and great service!

Absolutely overrated. The oat milk and the coffee just don’t come together — it feels like I’m drinking two separate things instead of a smooth blend. Really disappointing.

One of the best coffees around here in SLU and some friendly faces :)

Seattle coffee never disappoints, and Monorail Coffee is proof of that. I stopped by and tried their mocha, and it was nothing short of amazing—rich, velvety, and perfectly balanced between bold espresso and creamy, smooth chocolate. The flavor was indulgent without being overly sweet, and every sip felt thoughtfully crafted. You can tell they take their coffee seriously.

The baristas here are a highlight—friendly, fast, and clearly skilled at what they do. They work efficiently without sacrificing quality, making it an excellent stop if you’re in a hurry but still want something top-notch.

One thing to note: this is a pickup-focused coffee stand, so there isn’t a sit-down atmosphere. If you’re looking for a place to linger over your drink, you might want to head elsewhere. That being said, the lack of seating doesn’t take away from the fact that the coffee itself is outstanding.

Monorail Coffee is perfect for grabbing your caffeine fix while exploring downtown Seattle. The mocha alone makes it worth the stop, but I’ll definitely be back to try more from their menu. For a quick, flavorful, and expertly prepared coffee, this place delivers every single time.

Creamsicle espresso soda (wild flavor profile) and burnt cold foam cold brew(?) was delicious!

The baristas were super cool and prepared the drinks effortlessly which was impressive. There was a line, but I didn’t mind the wait. Would come back for other drinks including the cold foam cold brew.
