We made a reservation in advance for 5 adults (no kids) for dinner, mid-week and was glad we did bc it was packed. Service & Food was excellent. Food was well prepared but portions on the smaller side, so had to order a little more. Happened to be there mid-week when there was an alcohol sale of 50% off some wines, and alcohol. We had a bottle of wine. $50-$100pp. Expensive. A fun and loud environment that evening (and we were too!) as we enjoyed our dinner. Highly recommend.
The food at Monsoon was excellent! I especially recommend the platter—it was really good. The environment is pleasant, and the service was prompt and friendly. Overall, a great experience. I will definitely be coming back!
Monsoon is one of those Seattle restaurants that manages to feel timeless. Set along 19th Avenue East, it blends Vietnamese traditions with the kind of quiet confidence you only find in places that know exactly who they are. The soft lighting, wood interiors, and gentle hum of conversation give it a calm, elevated energy — the kind of dining room that feels good the moment you sit down.
