ordered a small carrot cake. The owners were super nice and communicated about the cake. And the cake is super soft and moist!

The owners are amazing! The best Doughnuts I’ve had to be honest, very lite and fluffy even a couple hours after being made! We live in lake city but will be back to this place when we’re out in the area and suggest everyone here to stop in and support a true gem in the area!Dietary restrictions: They made sure things are labeled if they were not vegan!

The donuts are *so good*!! Really fluffy yet somehow hearty texture, and the flavors are a mix of unique and classic. We got a mix of donuts to try and they were all delicious. My favorite was the truffle potato chips one! I've never even imagined a donut like that before, and the savory/sweet blend was wonderful. Looking forward to trying more things from the menu! The owners are really nice, and it's a kid-friendly shop atmosphere. Parking was easy in the lot out front, and the donuts are all vegan (couldn't tell by tasting them though).Vegetarian options: I believe everything is vegetarian, and most things either are or can be made vegan.

This bakery is super cute and I love that it's sailor moon themed! The owners are great and so friendly! They make their bread, donuts, and cakes fresh the same day and also offer delivery too. :) give them a visit and support local small businesses!

Unfortunately, this review is without pictures because I finished them before I could take any pictures. Moon Village Bakery is around the corner to local favorite My's Vietnamese Sandwiches and Deli, and it is a shame that the bakery is easy to miss because you can't really see it from Renton Ave S, the main road for Skyway's downtown. I have to say that their donuts are large, delicious, and have a wonderful texture. Each donut was the size of my hand and came in unique flavors and generally favorites. Their cinnamon sugar donuts are absolutely packed with coated sugar (prepare some napkins), the blue rose donuts have a mild flavor of roses, and unfortunately I ate the third one so quickly I don't remember what it was. As for the texture, I found the donuts to have a nice rise to them. It was almost gooey because of how well the dough could stretch. I think it would be nice if they focused on selling doughnuts and sweet goods because I feel like that's where Moon Village Bakery shines. If you aren't in the area, they also do deliveries.

Recently visited Moon Village Bakery in Seattle for my first time & had a pleasant experience! When I walked in the smell was delightful! Racks of fresh baked bread was cooling & donuts were being freshly fried! I asked about a previous week's donut special I saw advertised online, & while it was no longer available the baker/owner offered to make a similar one for me with truffle chips! It was SO GOOD!!! Getting a fresh warm (& customized!) donut is a real treat, it seriously made my day! What's unique about this Bakery too is that they are very community-focused. They deliver baked goods (in King County), donate to local orgs., support BIPOC & LGBTQ+, & sell creative works from local artists in their storefront as well. I love what they're doing & excited to see them grow! Will be returning very soon!!

This bakery is a hidden gem. If I had to describe it, it has new and old school vibes. It's nestled in the corner, and if you blink you'll miss it. You literally have to take a sharp right or left on the Main Street and there it is. I'm so glad we circled back to find it. It was right in front of me but had no idea. You too, have probably passed up this place up before. There's other goodies like records, books and even some tamagotchis (digital pets) for purchase. Our first visit we had 4 different donuts between us and a couple cookies. My favorite donut is probably the one with fresh! raspberry preserves. I took one bite and felt like I teleported back to my childhood but somewhere foreign I had never been before. It's a bizarre feeling. The dough is a hybrid of Indian fry bread and a Chinese donut. Let just say those were devoured in one sitting. We went back the next day and tried a new donut with potato chips on it which was surprisingly tasty and picked up some small artisan loaves of deep fried onion bread. Those deep fried bits reminded me congee (rice soup) toppings or when I was a child sautéed shrimp with fried garlic bits. Yum. We made tuna sandwiches and put truffle butter on those. They were rustic on the outside while still keeping the integrity of the onion flavor and pillowy soft inside. Those were so good! Oh and did I mention a Touma pet also came home with us that day?

My family did the delivery bread subscription and it was fantastic! We loved getting different bread each week- my favorite was the olive bread, although they were all good. The donuts are excellent as well, and I look forward to trying out their cakes! Give them a try, support a local family and get good bakery products- it’s a win-win!

Have been doing bread delivery for about a year. Great quality and variety for an affordable monthly rate. I also got my birthday cake from here! Lovely family, excited to see their business grow.

I've heard so much about this bakery, so I ordered bread and pastries,I have to say both were amazing ! I don't buy pastries often because I find them too sweet, I haven't had food that tasted this pure since the 70s, I saw something with strawberries online. I will definitely be back
